Ha, i only run as a bonding thing with my Dad. Difference is, he always kicks my butt. Last race i came 160 out of 600 and he came really high up. It was a 5k and my time was 22 minutes.
hmm. I should've put fencing on there, but im too lzy to edit. My dad is the head fencing coach at unc, that's how i mainly have father son bonding without just hanging out with him
I love goofing around with lacrosse. I'm not that abd but glad I don't really play because I hate getting hit by stuff. Checking and everything is cool with me but getting hit with a stick is not.
You're not tr00 unless you pay people to beat you with sticks.

lol, I was reading Varg Vikernes' autobiography, and apparently he, the guys from immortal, and some friends used to be really into LARP.... they used to go to an abandoned Montastary and fight with sticks and clubs and what not, when they were like 17... lmao.
Whoops, missed that post.

What's that movie about?
I have a friend who's hardcore into LARP. It's really lame but it is fun to beat the shit out of each other sometimes.

She doesn't even really like chick flicks, and I sure as hell don't.

Appreciate the suggestion though :)

Any other ideas?

Illmatic 06-11-2005 05:33 PM
To Ray:

Her favorite movie is Bourne Identity. Any ideas?
Ocean's 11?

It's not as action-packed as Bourne Identity, but it's slick and stylish and has Matt Damon in it. So I dunno.

EDIT: Whoops, no, Brad Pitt is in it.
And shut it. What kind of a man knows how to spell Chippendale's anyway?
One who saw the utterly hilarious SNL skit where Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley compete to be the last Chippendale's dancer, that's who.

ATM 06-11-2005 05:35 PM

 I was watching the best of Will Farrell the other night. It was so good.

Dancin' Man 06-11-2005 05:36 PM

I never though Chris Farley was that funny. I prefer something a bit more subtle. Or Mel Brooks.

Yeah, LARP is very lame, my brother and his friends fight with sticks, but it's not really larp, more so just hitting each other with sticks, lol.

Arucard 06-11-2005 05:37 PM

Sounds like a hxc gig too me.

What does LARP stand for?

Oh my lord yes, "You have to get yourself back on the right track-" /falls on top of a table.

Seriously, seeing a fat loud guy fall onto things a break them is hilarious, especially if the fat loud guy is being fat and loud to sarcastically make fun of a type of person that they hate.

ATM 06-11-2005 05:42 PM

My sister and I have watched Tommy Boy so many times, just to laugh at Chris Farley.

EDIT:  I passed Ray's post count

What the hell is wrong with me?

"What do you wanna be when you grow up?"
"A writer"
"Well, you'll have plenty of time to write when you're LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!! And you, what do you wanna do when you grow up?"
I never though Chris Farley was that funny. I prefer something a bit more subtle. Or Mel Brooks.
Chris Farley was one of the top five SNL performers ever, just because he was so bombastic that he made everyone else on the set crack up WITHOUT CRACKING HIMSELF UP! Most of today's performers (coughHoratioSanzcough) forget that last part, but it really makes a difference.

Oh and the other four would probably be Phil Hartman, Will Farrell, Chevy Chase, and Mike Myers. Belushi was hilarious but that was mostly in his movies instead of SNL.

ATM 06-11-2005 05:47 PM

RIP Belushi

I went to his grave site, and on the grave it says "I may be gone, but rock and roll lives on"
