its just the chick and the drummer right?
Yep just those two.

FatalEnergy 01-17-2010 12:54 PM

Going to see St. Vitus in a few weeks, then Shrinebuilder next month.

Wino must be hanging out in the bay area for a while.

Txus 01-17-2010 12:56 PM

That's awesome, I didn't like the Shrinebuilder album that much thought, it's a shame.

Have you heard Wino's solo album? If so, what did you think?

FatalEnergy 01-17-2010 01:25 PM

No, I haven't had the pleasure(?) of doing so yet.

Listening to Shrinebuilder my favorite parts usually were the parts with Al's vocals and/or riff style.

My least favorite parts was when the Neurosis guy wouldn't shut his mouth.

Txus 01-17-2010 01:48 PM

I'm a Neurosis fanboy like most of you know and I like OM and I ****ing love everything Wino but idk I found Shrinebuilder really boring.

And the Wino solo album is great, you should check it out.

imperialblackness 01-17-2010 01:49 PM

I purchased the Wino solo album at best buy a few months ago, its pretty good

FatalEnergy 01-29-2010 01:19 AM

Saint Vitus tomorrow.

**** yeah!

Jaundice 01-29-2010 02:56 AM

i should probably get the saint vitus album with the pink cover

Bleekill 01-29-2010 09:39 AM

Born too Late!

Carl Sagan 01-29-2010 09:49 AM

thats like their worst album

FatalEnergy 01-29-2010 12:20 PM

I'd agree. I think I listen to the first album or Die Healing the most.

FatalEnergy 01-30-2010 12:55 PM

That was probably one of the most elite shows ever.

pate 01-30-2010 04:21 PM

How was the new drummer?

FatalEnergy 01-30-2010 09:30 PM

Not bad, but it's hard for me to compare to Armando, because I didn't see them live with him. Playing wise, I thought he fit in the band just fine though.

It was ****ing heavy.

pate 01-30-2010 11:22 PM

How was the turnout?

FatalEnergy 01-31-2010 02:12 AM

Really good. The place was packed. The band seemed pleased, and said that they'd definitely be around again. Hopefully that's true.

I've been listening to Worship's Dooom... that is such an amazing album. I've never seen any doom bands live though, I cant wait for the day i do

the2stranger 02-02-2010 12:51 PM

I've seen many doom bands live.
That includes Worship and they're awesome live.
Crushing and bleak, just the way I like it.

:0 I only wish. It's my dream to see Esoteric live though... but I would have to go to the UK for that.

Txus 02-03-2010 12:00 PM

Esoteric would be so awesome live.
