Hah, I haven't talked about Cynic on the forums for about a month. You've been chasing me up that long? I'm touched. :)
I re-formatted my PC last week, so I haven't got it anymore, and I can't remember what it was. I'll probably recognize it when I see it. /cruises to review of Focus |

Taxman-The Beatles
|
Bartender - From reading your review, none of the track names sparked any memory off. But from the track descriptions, it sounds like Veil Of Maya. Any other Cynic songs feature female vocals as heavily? It may not even be on Focus.

Public Enemy - Fear Of A Black Planet

From what I understand it was basically an attack on the (Labour?) government of the time, and their tax hikes. |

I think only Focus had any female vocals on, not any of the demos. It might have been Sentiment, as there's a voice one there of whose gender I'm really uncertain. If it was actually singing, then chances are it was Veil of Maya. I don't think any of the other tracks have female vocals so prominently as that one, though there is a lot of the electronically altered "robot" vocals on pretty much all of them. Don't let that stop you checking them out, thoug :) NP Frank Klepacki - No Mercy |
I'm actually downloading the whole album now. :)
