I'm not really sure about 'Hallowed by thy name' as number one, It's good and all, but number one, really?
I would say Hallowed Be Thy Name is the 4th best song ever written.

Right behind Bohemium Rhapsody, Paschendale (cliché, I'm sorry) and Good Riddance.

Hey, whats going on?

For an English project right now, we must chose a song and change it into a story. I obviously chose Dance Of Death :).

My teacher orignally said that the story had to be 200-300 words but when I told her the Dance Of Death lyrics were 435 words she told me to write whatever and then she'll check to see if it's ok.

So basicly I've come to one of the few points in my life when I wanna do a school assingment. I also don't think I coulda picked a better song, DoD is already basicly a story so I just basicly have to elaborate apon that which is written and then I have an amazing story, as long as I do it properly.

Anyways probably around next Friday I should have it ready and perfected so I'll show it to you guys and see what you think.

You're saying that a Green Day song is better than Hallowed Be Thy Name?!

Be gone.

the_uber_penguin 10-01-2005 05:04 AM

I'm sorry YD.

Good Riddance is the only song that I could listen to any time...when I'm up it makes me feel calm, when I'm down it makes me feel up. It's just one of those special songs for me.

ashman 10-01-2005 06:16 AM

Was it a VW Campervan (classic)?

If it was, whereabouts, so I can shoot the owner and steal that van?

Actually shooting is a bit extreme, I might just tie him up somewhere.

Actually, shooting is a bit extreme, but I'm evil, so whatever.

Lord Abortion 10-02-2005 01:55 AM
Yes dammit!
HBTN is the greatest song ever written.

rippa32 10-02-2005 04:09 AM

Well I have just expanded my Maiden collection from just Number Of The Beast to now having Powerslave. One word to describe it would be Awe-Inspiring (Actually I think that's two). Well anyway I really love Rime Of The Ancient Mariner and have gone looking for it on the net. I found it, it has 627 lines, is this right or is there more? I wanna make sure before I start reading.

No, it was like a big transit van jobby. I didn't have my camera phone on me either, but I was with two of my friends, so they can back me up here if more evidence is needed... :p

There was 'Andy Lane Courier' in IM style font on it. I think it's based in Beverley (near Hull), I pointed at it whilst I was wearing my Trooper T-shirt and the driver looked a bit scared when I bowed to it...
