Here's my choice:
Buy GTA: San Andreas when it comes out for Xbox (UK) on Friday OR buy tickets to see Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in August I can only afford one this month (unless the Nick Cave gig still has tickets in 3 weeks time - but seeing as it's a one off (at least I think) - it won't have) |
Tough one.
At least consider the fact that GTA: SA will still be in stores once the Nick Cave concert passes. *raises eyebrows* |
Go to the show.
|
Chip your XBox and download the game.
|
Tough one.

I will buy GTA as a present to myself for completing my exams (when I have my last one on the 24th June) and it will kick ass. The Nick Cave gig is so tempting though. I'm gonna have to think about this... |
Definitely get the Nick Cave tickets first.
|
Get the Nick Cave ticket you heretic! :p
|
Nobody cares about my euphonium.
|
 Anywayz I'm off to bed now. Thanks TH for the albums :)
Night all. |
I could go to Jurassic 5 tonight but I feel like crap. Stupid allergies.
|
Also consider that, in my opinion, San Andreas is not a patch on Vice City.
|
Have Nick Cave buy you the game.
|
Nobody cares about my euphonium.
I only know what one is because I studied Symphonie Fantastique last year. |
Nobody cares about my euphonium.
If I knew what a euphonium is, I might.
Have Nick Cave buy you the game.
Ah, the perfect solution. |
You told me all about euphoniums before. I'm very happy for you. :)
When I was in fifth grade I got to play the school's baritone saxophone. I was one of the few kids who could reach the mouthpiece while sitting with the sax resting on the floor. Too bad all the bari sax parts were really really boring :( |
It's like a baby tuba. However, I got a crazy marching one that you hold like a trumpet. It sounds like a trombone, only less slidy.
|
I went from the trumpet, to the baritone, to the tuba.
|
This is what I personally sound like on the thing. Keep in mind that I just got it today...

Ah cool, sounds like fun. My brother played the trombone once upon a time. |
Yeah it is fun. It makes playing the trumpet really weird if you do them one after the other, though, since the difference in mouthpiece sizes is huge.
|
Euphonium Swingin'... hehe
That was cool. |
Ah, the perfect solution.
Yeah, I know. |
I play the trombone. best instrument ever. except all the high notes suck.
|
*plays trombone also*
I used to sit next to the Eupho kid in band, he was nice. They sound so much like trombones. Now we don't have a Eupho so I just sit next to the tuba. One of my best friend's sisters played the Eupho before she left school. Have fun with your Eupho Zappa. |
What happened to the eupho kid when you got rid of having a eupho?
|
I think he quit music and probably stopped playing eupho. Because he didn't play eupho, the band didn't have a eupho. He was probably using a school eupho and not his own eupho.
|
Oh. That makes a lot more sense.
|
Good :thumb:
Bartender and other fellow Alt and Indie people, see my most recent thread for a very awesome band. |
I've been hearing a lot of good things about Sleater-Kinney. What's a good album of theirs to start off with?
|
try All Hands on the Bad One.
