Built to Spill are pretty boring live. It's a bunch of background noise with cycled images and the Doug Martsch Guitar Solo show.

Their studio albums are amazing but live is WHY DO A 20 MINUTE ENCORE VERSION OF RANDY DESCRIBED ETERNITY?

Animal Collective were awesome last night :)

When I got there the people doing interviews were split up with different band members, but I got to interview Panda Bear so I was more than happy with that. He was such a nice guy, we chatted about the new album, playing live and bands he was into and stuff like that. It lasted about 20 minutes, I got to watch them soundcheck, got put on the guestlist for the show and PB signed my Strawberry Jam vinyl for me :D Great night.

I saw Animal Collective in a 500 seating church on Monday and was really disappointed by the sound.
They didn't play any songs from Feels and generally bored me a bit. However, the support were as amazing (in a way) as I imagine Sigur Ros to be.

For some reason that song was in my head today.

Some douchebag kid came to my door today and when I gave him some candy his eyes went right past me and said "I'd rather have that Kit-Kat bar actually."

I also saw a girl dressed up like Sailor Moon on the bus.

Seeing as Halloween stuff isn't that popular in Australia, we didn't get that many kids coming to the door. So now I have a big bowl of sweets to eats.

so why did you buy all that candy if nobody was going to take it? because youre a glutton.

I got a grand total of 3 group of trick or treaters, one of which was filled with giggling, hot girls.


Needless to say, I ate a f[B]u[/B]ckload of candy.

So I heard the Killers' cover of "Shadowplay" today and it made me cry.
