In my spanish class, the teacher made some psuedo-message board type deal, so obviously my user name was WuTang.

The Wu is life.

But I don't feel like it.

This is a problem.

What's it on and how many pages are needed?

Electrocution 06-06-2005 08:29 PM

Southeast Asia's current human rights, security, and environmental issues. Supposed to be around 4 pages. Nothing major, but just sitting down and writing is a bitch.

biografiend 06-06-2005 09:39 PM

that sucks.

today I went resale shopping. I happened to pick up 2 strings of pearls, a suit jacket, 8-tracks of: Ted Nugent, Styx, Journey, Blondie, KISS, and Elton John. I also found the Beatles-Let It Be on vinyl (!!!!!!!!) but it didnt have a record in it. :upset: x 3940^97

Four pages?

Child's play.

br3ad_man 06-07-2005 01:51 AM

I've always wondered that myself.

We had a Singaporean concert band come to our school last night. They did some funny things. The other funny thing was that they showed a Yanni DVD at the end and it reminded me how unbelievably homosexual he is.
Strange question, but...

Could anybody clarify the correct pronunciation of Sepultura for me, please?

Is the stress on the first or second u?
I've had latin for four years (not that I know any), but I think that it is on the second u. You pronounce it like this:

Seh-pull-too-rah

I have an exam on the 15th June. GTA:San Andreas comes out for xbox (in UK)on the 10th. I don't think I'm going to get much revising done. :(

While I'm at it I will say thanks anyone (Br3ad is the only one I can think of but there were others) who recommended me the Shawshank Redemption OST - brilliant album. Thanks to everyone who recommended soundtracks in my 'Movie Soundtracks' thread.

I've tried to buy the Taxi Driver score but I can't find it anywhere :upset:

Time for ebay :naughty:

gaslight 06-07-2005 09:08 AM

I can't wait to get GTA:San Andreas for my PS2, but I wan't to buy an MP3 player, and I don't know what I should spend money on first. I also want to be an Akai Headrush Delay/Loop pedal, and I don't have the money to afford them all...

Tomahawk 06-07-2005 09:14 AM

Buy the game, then steal the other things, and blame the game for warping your mind.

gaslight 06-07-2005 09:16 AM

I could try that, and if I lived in America, I could probably get away with it and sue the manufacturers for even more money, and get even more stuff.

Download the XBox version of the game with Bittorrent or something, burn it to DVD (in case you haven't got a DVD burner, make a friend of yours do it) and Play. If I were you, I'd buy the MP3 Player then, but you gotta figure this out yourself.

Tomahawk 06-07-2005 09:22 AM

Don't you need some kinda chip installed to play burnt games?

gaslight 06-07-2005 09:23 AM

So I can download the XBox version of the game, and burn it to DVD, and it will work on my PS2?

pinkyeti 06-07-2005 09:25 AM

Oh, i've misread that. Well, download the PS2 version of the game then.

pinkyeti 06-07-2005 09:27 AM
Don't you need some kinda chip installed to play burnt games?
I've got no clue. I do not possess a PS2. But a friend of mine does what I described to you above all the time.

gaslight 06-07-2005 09:31 AM

Ah cool, it's okay really, I'll probably just buy it. I like Rockstar games so I don't mind them having my money. I'd like to find it on sale or something though.

The MP3 player I want comes to like $500/$600AUD, the effects pedal about $300/#400AUD, and GTA:SA the last time I saw it, was sitting around $100AUD.

Wanker 06-07-2005 09:41 AM
Don't you need some kinda chip installed to play burnt games?
I think that's for Dreamcast. My friend has something installed on his and he plays emulated games from other systems. i.e. Nintendo, SNES, Genesis.

That's some fancy-schmancy MP3 player.

The Ashtray Girl 06-07-2005 10:36 AM

Omg, The Ordinary Boys are going on tour in November!

Wow, Massive Attack are great. I should have checked them out sooner.

Bartender 06-07-2005 11:52 AM

What have you checked out by them now?

ATM 06-07-2005 11:53 AM

Mezzanine

Luxor 06-07-2005 11:54 AM

That's the only one I have by them as well.

IHeartDisco 06-07-2005 12:01 PM

My old drum teacher has played with the guys from Massive Attack :D
