I was just playing WoW, and horde guys were camping my corpse, and it kept taking my spirit to a horde graveyard, so I asked where the closest graveyard was and some dickhead gave me quordinates to the middle of freaking nowhere in some canyon that's nearly impossible to reach... I wasted a half hour.

Not only is the story so dry and boring that'd rather put my foot up my own a[SIZE="2"]s[/SIZE]s, but Faulkner tried so hard to get the southern dialect down that he went as far as using terrible grammar. Also, character's thoughts are nearly impossible to follow, since they seem to be stringing random sentences together. I'm 100 pages in and I have no idea what the hell is going on other then a woman has died, the story is just so difficult to follow. Also, the story is told from the perspective of all of the different members in the family, so consequently the same events are retold five different times.

This book is awful. I can't believe this guy was published, let alone awarded a Nobel Prize.

It sounds like the book "The Color Purple" by Alice Walker which I had to read for school over the summer.
