Nah, what's the review site?

Someone who found this place and not through the review site, nice.

The review site is full of try hards who are easy to troll, there are some good posters over there but not many. Deviant is one of the very good posters, in fact a lot of the noobs I've schooled in this thread are review site regs.

This place used to be the forums for MX tabs but then there was legal trouble so the owner of this site placed all his attention on the side project of sputnik music, but kept the forums attached, ever since there's been a divide and people defecting over there.

Ah right, all seems a bit silly tbh. Never used MX tabs myself, I just stick to Ultimate-Guitar.

Also you're right, the review site does seem to be full with a lot of twats, going by most of the comments.

What comments have you seen then ?

Just comments generally on any album, the comments on dubstep albums are the worst.

I have been reading reviews on this site for a while, since it's a lot better than most (i.e. pitchfork) and has reviews that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Went on the forums today and seen there was a dubstep thread and a few other good ones so I signed up. That's about it.

A dislike for pitchfork and find the comments on dubstep releases on the review site idiotic.

Young sir we will get along just fine, if you're into a wide range of music, especially the heavier variety, stick around and you're likely to get a lot of recommendations.

Aye I'm into a wide range. Need to start getting into metal again, haven't listened to any in a while, been listening to electronic music too much.

That blog looks pretty good, I have been looking for a new music blog that doesn't just post House music all the time.

They post a lot of glitch hop and down tempo stuff, really good some of it.
