Also get Lykathea Aflame - Elvenefris which is already a classic in my eyes. I would also add Decapitated - Winds Of Creation, Immolation - Unholy Cult, Pestilence - Testimony Of The Ancients or Consuming Impulse.

Definately get this. I don't know that I'd call it "essential" or "classic" in the same way as I'd call Seven Churches, but it's definately an amazing album. Also get (if it's not mentioned yet) Entombed - Left Hand Path, Master's self-titled and Autopsy - Severed Survival.
