Alot of BCR..alot less Maiden than usual.

poprocks&coke 11-04-2005 03:48 PM

All that plays in our form room now is cheesy pop... e.g. The Cheeky Girls, A1, The Spice Girls... it's all our form can agree on.

But me, personally, I have been listening to System of a Down. I am preparing myself for the new album.

Head Automatica - Decadance
Everyone should own this CD, even if you aren't a big fan of Daryl's work with Glassjaw. It's upbeat, and very hard not to get into. Honestly, every time I listen to this CD, I cannot stop bobbing my head, and by the time it gets near the end I'm swinging it around in my bedroom!

Placebo - Once More With Feeling
After seeing them twice in 2003 and 2004, I decided to get their singles set which came out in 2004, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a mixture of their older, more pushing punky anthems, to their newer experimental brit-rock sound, and every bit of it sounds great thanks to Brain's unique voice.

Funeral For A Friend - Seven Ways To Scream Your Name + All their b-sides
Even though they are edging towards a more listener-friendly style with their new album Hours, their older stuff still feels fresh and bold in a boring genre. SWTSYN EP was an amazing accomplishment for them, and gave the world "The Art Of American Football", and as for their b-sides; "The System", "You Want Romance?" and "10 Scene Points To The Winner" are all hard and brilliant songs.

poo-poo-pee-pee 11-17-2005 11:44 PM

I've been listening to alot of Thursday recently, normally I don't get into 'em too much.

Also I've got back into Alkaline Trio, so I've been listening to my fair share of them.
