DepthsOfDreams555 10-26-2005 04:35 PM

It doesn't have to be pop-punk dude. It's in the Pop-Punk forum so they gave the thread that title, but don't debate weather an album is pop-punk or not just let it be.

Bad Blood 10-26-2005 05:16 PM

I'm really into Coheeds new album. I think it's worthy of a 10/10, it''s crazy. I love it.

redstainedeyes 10-28-2005 02:59 PM

I don't really think Rise Against is Pop-Punk...I'm not being a genre Nazi, but it did say Pop-Punk albums deserving 10/10.

Death Cab are indie as far as I know. Mae is pop-punk. This Day and Age is pop-punk as far as I know, I haven't heard them before though, and JamisonParker is like Pop-Rock I think. All close enough. Besides, it really doesn't matter.

I have just realized how awesome SDRE's album Diary is. Almost a 10/10 for sure.

Tjebby 10-29-2005 09:40 PM

Almost all of Saves The Days albums. I have yet to hear the ep though.

This Day And Age, Mae, and JamisonParker would all probably fall into the same category. They don't really have any punk influence that I can tell, so pop-pock is probably more accurate. They're all discussed in here though, so it doesn't much matter.

I haven't heard Mae or This Day and Age before so I don't really know. I judged by what I've heard from others.

I figured. They both include keyboards in their music, and they play a mix of acoustic and electric. They're both really good. I'd suggest checking them out if you get the chance.

I plan on it now :p. I enjoy keyboards in music if they're implemented well :)

Awesome. The keyboards are perfect in both bands.

Oh, and This Day And Age is from around here. (local ++)

Local bands are cool. I wish we had more local bands. Although one of the bands from my school, they get to play with Rancid next time they come past here on tour. Which is pretty big I think. They're only 16 too.

Wow, that's awesome.

This Day And Age is one of a few locals bands that have made it fairly big. It's pretty cool.

It's quite alright :). No one really minds in here, most people are really nice. This section is the nicest one on the whole forum in my opinion. There are always some people that are going to bitch though.

Yeah people do seem a lot nicer in here now. The pit has always had a bunch of stingy people though.
By the way, I'm not a n00b like my username will say. I made a new account today, but I've actually been a member since summer '03.

I remember you! I can't remember your name though. I use to talk to you on AIM. You were one of my favorite members... That Spill Canvas album is incredible. Joshmay, an mxer [does he still post?] introduced me to them. I saw them about a month ago. They mostly played their new electric material, sadly :[

Yeah I did. I haven't been using MX much for the past few months because of school, though. I just happend to have a lot of free time tonight so I've been on. My old username was takingbksundayfan. I haven't even touched their CD's for like 6 months so I just made this new username. I don't like advertising bands in my usernames anymore.
