Pfft. Lambs. Scared to take on a real sheep?

^A Suffocation song, so this isn't total spam.

LordDargon 03-07-2005 01:26 PM

My dark master prefers the tender, succulent flesh of a helpless lamb.

What song is it? You don't have Effigy of the Forgotten, do you. :(

Bartender 03-07-2005 01:28 PM

Nope, just Pierced From Within. It's Suspended in Tribulation, I think.

KrashTest 03-07-2005 01:52 PM

Awwww, wonder who'll take their place in the tour....i'm supposed to be seeing them on saturday....grah..

Cynic - Veil of Maya
Thank you so much. I just went out and bought "Focus" because of that song.

manuscriptreplica 03-07-2005 06:15 PM

heh, awesome. I told you it was good breadman.

edit: seanmalone.com is back up, with audio and video downloads! There's a 10 minute live audio of Cynic playing two songs, How Could I and another I can't remember :thumb:

bob the ripper apple. 03-07-2005 09:29 PM

genius man. genres, always confuse me. i always put opeth and such in the technical black metal section.

Blasphemy

Technical Black Metal most likely doesn't exist, and if it does by some small chance, Opeth are not even close to Black Metal in the first place

Arcturus and Enslaved are as close as it gets to that genre but they're more progressive Black Metal.

Dancin' Man 03-07-2005 09:42 PM

Progressive Black metal - the FG I have called dibs on for the future. I kind of doubt anyone else but Per Ardua would be really interested in doing it though.

Maybe like Cirith Gorgor and stuff?

By that way, what is the album in your avatar highvoltage? I recognize the Dimmu Borgir logo. It seems to be a colour-ified version of For All Tid.

RCA 03-08-2005 08:23 AM

Anyone have dibs on doing a FG on Thrash Metal? If not, dibs.

LordDargon 03-08-2005 08:26 AM
Anyone have dibs on doing a FG on Thrash Metal? If not, dibs.
You can't dibs until 1 week after this one has been up... and that is already dibbs'd, so you have to wait until after the next one.

ThrashMaster27 03-08-2005 08:33 AM

I thought it was on different aspects of genres. I was planning on doing a Tech-Thrash one, but I really can't be arsed.

I'll be interested in reading it though, to be sure. So, do it well.

nocturnoculto 03-08-2005 11:44 AM

Hey Iron Man
What Dissection cover is that as your pic?
Is it the 'light bane' one?

Dancin' Man 03-08-2005 12:01 PM

Storm of Light's Bane. Very, very good album. Still not sure if I prefer SOmberlain though.

nocturnoculto 03-08-2005 12:49 PM

Have you got Live Legacy? I've got Storm... but only a copied version from a mate and haven't heared Somberlain but from what I've heard Dissection Rule!
Storm... is a great album though!

I'm feeling generous, so here is Quo Vadis - Day Into Night for everyone's enjoyment. (They're considered technical death right?)
