Gay Rude Boys Unite is probably their best song and most clear about their opinion, IMO.

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:38 PM

I <3 rainbows

cheeser_1 04-04-2005 09:39 PM
"Why are their so many songs about rainbows? And who gives a f'uck anyway?"

If no one gave a f'uck, then why write a song about it?

Whatever, I don't want to start a huge arguement over how brave or not LoC is.
they didn't write the song about rainbows.
they wrote a song about writing songs about rainbows.

GEEEEEEEZ.

but seriously, yes. we are being silly.
it does qualify them more as pansey boys than hypocrits
and for the record, there's nothing necessarily wrong with being a "pansy."

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:43 PM

Oh yeah I completely agree, I bloody hate bugs and basically run away when I see them

misfitspunk 04-04-2005 09:55 PM

You suck F minus own u.

TROGDOR91 04-15-2005 06:46 AM

LOC- What they stand for...

TRyin' to figure out what LeftOver Crack stands for. I hear they don't judge anyone and that they're anti-religious. Every website's sayin' different things. "Are they into witchcraft or What?" Cuts I've heard from F'uck World Trade are awesome. Wondrin' if they're worth gettin' into.

Brothel_Creeper 04-15-2005 07:01 AM

they stand for whatever is controversial and will get them attention, because the music isnt good enough

Scabies 04-15-2005 07:03 AM

ooh controversy

Brothel_Creeper 04-15-2005 07:03 AM

you know its true, remember when they played london

'oh calvin klein, really 'fuck world trade' ey'

Scabies 04-15-2005 07:09 AM

all that pops in to my head is that f'uckin girl screaming about how she cant/doesnt want to get laid before life is pain

Brothel_Creeper 04-15-2005 07:10 AM

ahahahaha

'i dont want kids!'

she was crazy

sketchyjoe 04-15-2005 09:12 AM

That sounds like a fun gig.

It's true LoC are all about controversy for controversy's sake, that and self-mythologising. Any decent political points are cancelled out by a level of self-aggrandisement that would embarass most gangster rappers.

Unseen2k0 04-15-2005 12:13 PM

They stand against world trade, cops and things like religion. There are a lot of people who don't like them here, if you read what is above. I think they are a great band, and if you check out the top 100 punk CDs, all 3 of their CDs made it and did well. They are a good band and can structure their music together very nicely. Check 'em out.

sketchyjoe 04-15-2005 12:30 PM

I like them but their political views are pretty undeveloped. And they only have 2 albums unless you're counting Choking Victim.

Jessizzle 04-15-2005 12:33 PM

I actually liked FWT alot, I Thought it had somesorta ska-ish feel on some of the tracks and together it sounded great.

Unseen2k0 04-15-2005 12:34 PM
I like them but their political views are pretty undeveloped. And they only have 2 albums unless you're counting Choking Victim.
I am. LoC is CV with a new drummer. Same song writers and all. Their political views are becoming more developed, and more people are starting to dislike them.

IFlogMyMolly16 04-15-2005 12:46 PM

Against the World Bank and the IMF as FWT will indicate.

OMGaDINOSAUR 04-15-2005 01:09 PM

My Mommy thought my LOC poster was offencive.

DrGolovaCroxby 04-15-2005 01:19 PM

the FWT album cover is offensive. i don't find many things offensive, but that cover makes me want to kick the s'hit out of those hypocrite fags if I ever see them.

Jessizzle 04-15-2005 01:21 PM

Yea.. the poster was from inside the album. But thoes pictures under the lyrics really creeped me out.

Brain Toad 04-15-2005 01:33 PM
I like them but their political views are pretty undeveloped. And they only have 2 albums unless you're counting Choking Victim.
I agree with this. I like their music, and their lyrics are decent. But they aren't ones you'd seek political ideas from, ie DK etc.

El_Shiznit 04-15-2005 01:40 PM

Are we ready for an Official LoC/Crack Rock thread yet?

I'm tired of these threads all over the place.

AIRIC 04-15-2005 02:56 PM

Ezra is an idiot, but I still love them as a band.

Leftover Jello 04-15-2005 04:11 PM

"Leftover Crack is an Anti-Racist, Anti-Sexist, Anti-Homophobic and Anti-Fascist Organization...BEWARE THE WRATH OF THE VICTIN!" It says on **** World Trade. They just exagerate every thing and go way over the top with all their kill cops, do drugs, and drop out stuff. They're definately a great band, maybe don't take everything too seriously. It seems like they support terrorists, for example super tuesday seems to be about how 9/11 will bring an end to the American Empire. Personally I think they have quite intelligent political views, they just portray them in extreme, exagerated, radical ways that just makes it all the more funny.

Biscuit_box 04-15-2005 05:50 PM

I just recently acquired their both albums and i haven't been able to stop listening to them! Brilliant band. Brilliant music. As it was already mentioned FWT had a ska feel to it which makes it more appealing to me

Reaganista 04-15-2005 06:00 PM
the FWT album cover is offensive. i don't find many things offensive, but that cover makes me want to kick the s'hit out of those hypocrite fags if I ever see them.
yes.

I can't stand them.

123.
They may not like world trade, but still so many people died and that shouldnt be viewed as cool or funny.

i will leave when we get one of those.

Majorthreat889 04-15-2005 07:45 PM

Yeah theyre drummer died only 24... too bad they broke up after that they were a great band

Forest_Fire 04-15-2005 07:48 PM

Except that they didn't break up

Majorthreat889 04-15-2005 07:49 PM

they didnt? u sure?
LEFTOVER CRACK : THE LOWDOWN FROM STZA
01 March 2005

Stza wrote us with some clarification about what's going on with LEFTOVER CRACK. Although the band's future is not clear right now, Stza is currently writing songs for the next Leftover Crack record as well as a side project with Brad Logan (F-Minus/L.O.C. guitarist & singer). Stza will be doing an accoustic tour of the UK in May 2005, playing the Wasted Festival and a bunch of other shows. LEFTOVER CRACK released '**** World Trade' last year (on Household Name Records in the UK).
Majorthreat889 04-15-2005 07:53 PM

ahh your right. **** idk why i thought they broke up.

kieranushurnusmcgee 04-16-2005 12:20 AM

They're sellouts. They just say controversial stuff to get attention.

IrishPunk07 04-16-2005 01:38 AM

reguardless if they sold out for "attention," they are still fun to listen to

cheeser_1 04-16-2005 02:50 AM
I like them but their political views are pretty undeveloped. And they only have 2 albums unless you're counting Choking Victim.
some people might count that beefed up re-release of that rock the 40 oz 7" - you know the one, yeah?
the FWT album cover is offensive. i don't find many things offensive, but that cover makes me want to kick the s'hit out of those hypocrite fags if I ever see them.
except that the cover reflects an important aspect of the truth of what happened.

$bassline$ 04-16-2005 08:01 AM

the feeling i always got from the cover was that it's purpose was not to mock the people that died, but to show that both sides are definirely wrong. and it definitely helped to get attention, which i see nothing wrong with as long as they're just making exaggerated pictures and song topics.
