How do we download albums offa people? I need to know.
You add them to your user list (at the right hand side of the Soulseek window), then right click their name when they're online and select Browse Files. Should bring up a window in their name and, if you're lucky, you'll be able to look through whatever they're sharing. |
BUMP.
Just went through the whole thread and added all of you. |

I've never really had great problems getting connected, just at least as often as not, it gives me an error in trying to browse people's files. |

I have a lot of different stuff but especially: Death Metal / Grindcore Metal in general Indie rock/pop Post-Rock Instrumental/Prog i have good download speed (cable). oh yeah and i almost forgot: have some stuff for trade! i'm not a jerk about this but mooching gets on my nerves. message me or whatever. |
Does anyone have any live Pavement stuff?
Much appreciated. |
I do, its all from the re issue of Slanted and Enchanted.
My SLSK name is Lookitssam |
I just downloaded Soulseek and my username is the same as my MX name. I've got pretty much the standard Alt/indie/rock band list: Radiohead, Tool, Bjork, Cursive, Bright Eyes, Primus, etc.
Plus I have lots of hip-hop: Aesop Rock, Sage Francy Pants, Atmosphere, Buck 65, Saul Williams, Immortal Technique, Josh Martinez, J-live, Eyedea & Abilities, Sixtoo, Living Legends, Non-Prophets, etc. And I got some good electronica: Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Moby, Thievery Corp., Dntel, Greyboy, Gotan Project, Chemical Bros., Crystal Method, Boozoo Bajou, Dj Shadow, etc. I live on the west coast of the US and I have a nice broadband connection, so anyone that lives somewhat nearby and has a nice connection & collection should hit me up. I'll attempt to trade with anyone, just haven't had any luck so far. I can do the aim or msn thing too. |
soulseek ws cool for awhile but now it sucks, i uninstalled it. i just use torrents or trade over aim
|
I haven't been as successful with Soulseek like before. I'm not sure why, maybe some of the stuff I'm looking for is increasingly obscure.
|
For the sake of getting my name added to the Soulseek ID list, my username is renaissance086
|
u got any mint chicks on there tangy?
|
mango jam is my usrename and i have a pile of stuff like:
LOADS of led zeppelin Pink Floyd Radiohead Pixies Mogwai Jesus and Mary Chain Jeff and Tim Buckley Soundgarden Rage Against the Machine Just loads of stuff really that I can't be bothered to type. There is also an unhealthy number of "novelty songs" such as the macarena and my sister's Britney Spears and Beyonce and that kind of rubbish |
Soulseek: whatever_gosh
Mostly indie/alt stuff - you'll have to talk to me to view my stuff because it is on user list only... |
bump
My ID is mozzamorrissey. I have lots of live Smiths/Morrissey stuff, and then about 3k other songs. Browse my files at will. |
Whoo slsk thread...
My s/n is UltimaTap. Message me and tell me that you're from MX and I'll add you, I have around 2,000 files, they can go from prog to indie, mostly experimental stuff. I specialize in Rush, but I think lately I took off the live albums, I'm not sure. |
