I meant they wouldn't be famous if it wasn't for the Killers and the Strokes.

Some were influenced by them. I read that the Bravery had a totally different style before they became popular.

I would agree that The Strokes and The Killers success might have opened the market up for these other 'artists'.

I find it funny that at least half the bands listed are older than the killers, and maybe a quarter are older than the Strokes, so if anything the "copying" is reversed. Unless that's not what you were getting at.

The Killers just broke out last year, why are they in the same league as The Strokes, who were arguably the first band to explode with this type of music?

I didn't mean for that list to be only of bands who copied the Strokes and the Killers, they are just bands whose music from 2005 sucks.

Wow, you are REALLY bad at posting here. Learn more about these bands if you're going to make fun of them. If that's too painful for you then just shut up.

i wouldnt talk about them if i didnt know about them. i give everything a listen before i comment on them.

I doubt you're very familiar with anything other than how cool it is to hate it. MCR is one of the few pop-punk bands to try their hand at guitar solos, and they're fairly competent at it so you don't need to tell them how to play their instruments. And The Killers don't dress like girls, I don't know where you got that from.
