That's just the old deck I record practices with, a Sony MDM-X4.

shanx...shanx a lot...

The uber cool part is that it only cost $700 Canadian including the case. I feel bad when musicians have to let go of their instruments at high losses but if they are selling them and I am interested then a price is agreed upon...

...instrument goes with me.
The d00d didn't seem upset at all though...and the bass feels so smooth!!! When he said there might be 2-3 hours total playing time on it he did not exaggerate. NEW condish.

**looks at thread title**

My mom own a G&L! Beat that, beyotches!

I've actually never played a G&L before due to lack of interest. They just seemed like overly dramatic Fenders.

Jody LeCompte 09-07-2006 01:16 PM

G&L play so much better than any standard fender I've ever played. I wish I could afford one.

moghes69 09-07-2006 08:28 PM

i played an L-2000 and almost creamed my pants, then i played an L-2500 with the baseball bat neck and wanted to cut off my hands. but aside from the neck on the five string i was really impressed.

I'll bite...

G&L is wonderful! I have becomed the happy owner of a G&L l2000, and this bas is f'in POWERFUL! Combined with my Sansamp Bass Driver pedal, it makees sure its impossible to play at low volumes..

And it surely got tone to hold up, and Punch, i can go from MM to Geddy sound(Jazz Bass) to Steve Harris(P bass) sound just with the flick of the switch...

And the neck, oh the best Satin finish ever! so smooth and wonderful to hold on, and you dont have to have baseball necks, mine have a neck thats pretty similiar to a 70's Jazz bass... My band keeps braging about it to, the guitarist loves its sound.

its wonderful, Natural Finish, Maple neck and Fretboard:

If all G&L's hold this quality, i might very well get more of them in the future... this one have a deadspot, wich i found becose i looked after it, but the note is as strong as the others, its only that it fades a little quicker than the other notes(that is if your holding a note on D#(8 fret) on the G string for more than 5 seconds...)
