Good job, man.

This one should work;

It's the same song, The Clockwork That Counts Aeons.

Distorted Vision 03-05-2005 10:11 AM

Cheers. Great track.

Bartender 03-05-2005 10:12 AM

You're welcome. Great album.

I just got it a few weeks ago. It is definitly very good.

REDNUunderHTAOoath 03-06-2005 10:25 AM

If it's technical death metal you like, check out Extol

naboo 03-06-2005 04:51 PM

Great job. Dying Fetus is another great technical death metal band (falling under the brutal catergory).

ZEROthirtythree 03-06-2005 05:03 PM

Thank you so much for those downloads. I always wanted to listen to Atheist.

Can you also give a Cynic song?

Dancin' Man 03-06-2005 06:57 PM

Iniquity is another great band. Somewhere between brutal and technical death.

I hate this whole "singing without attemting to make words" thing. That song would be sweet if they had a real singer

Actually they do make words, you just cant understand them.

Moon Flavor 03-06-2005 08:43 PM
Actually they do make words, you just cant understand them.
Yea, you know what I mean

Dancin' Man 03-06-2005 09:36 PM

Try Necrophagist then. He's relatively easy to understand that there are words. It's just that the lyrics suck.

manuscriptreplica 03-07-2005 03:55 AM

Try Death - the Sound of Perseverance. He changed his vocal style on the previous album because he grew sick of the death metal growl. It's kind of like this scream, he articulates words very well.

Ok, give me a few minutes

Cynic - Veil of Maya

br3ad_man 03-07-2005 04:52 AM

Come on man, that's not their best song!

manuscriptreplica 03-07-2005 04:57 AM

Yea it is

Upload a 'better' one if you want, though

br3ad_man 03-07-2005 05:06 AM

haha I will. I dunno, maybe it is the best, it just really annoys me for some reason. I think "I'm But A Wave To..." is a much better song.

manuscriptreplica 03-07-2005 05:13 AM

Nah Veil of Maya has the cool robot voice, which I know you love

br3ad_man 03-07-2005 05:20 AM

I think the way he phrases "veeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiil of maya" is the thing that annoys me the most. The way it goes "veeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiil of maya" and then the screamed lyrics...I dunno, just annoys me.

blueyxd 03-07-2005 07:04 AM

Veil Of Maya and I'm But A Wave To.. would be my picks from it. I really can't get into half of those songs on Focus, and I've them for quite a while now.

Bartender 03-07-2005 07:08 AM

How Could I would probably be my favourite on Focus, though Veil of Maya, Sentiment, ..I'm But a Wave To and Textures all come close.

Have any of you heard the demo version of Eagle Nature? I think it's quite a bit better than the album version :-/. I'll upload it later today if you like, after I'm back from this proctorial I'm about to head off to.

blueyxd 03-07-2005 07:13 AM

apart from Focus, I have these demo's:
A Life Ashtray
Agitating Affliction
Denaturalizing Leaders
Extremes
Pleading For Preservation
The Eagle Nature
Thinking Being

Bartender 03-07-2005 07:15 AM

I only have The Eagle Nature, from some demo I'm unsure of the name/date of, and then

Once Misguided
Weak Reasoning
Dwellers of the Threshold

from a 1988 self-titled demo, I think.

And here's How Could I, just for the hell of it.

Unfortunately, I doubt it :-/

From http://www.necrophagist.de
Upcoming tours cancelled!
"Due to health problems that will prevent me from performing on stage or leaving Stuttgart, NECROPHAGIST is unfortunately forced to cancel our upcoming tours with MORBID ANGEL and NILE as well as our own shows. The situation is dire enough that without cancellation of these dates the very existence of the band and my playing is threatened.

NECROPHAGIST and I were looking forward to bringing the Epitaph record to life for the first time, and not being able to do so is an enormous disappointment to us.

I am sorry to disappoint you, our amazing fans and supporters, and my fellow bandmates, who have been working intensely with an amazingly professional attitude and are eager to destroy the stage. I know this has been their big dream and a great opportunity, but the situation does not allow me to continue for now. I promise to make sure I will get back on track as soon as my health allows, because I owe this to our fans and my bandmates.

Muhammed Suicmez, March 2 2005"
Sorry. I was going to be seeing them this week too :(

EDIT: Dammit Dargon. Your dealings with Satan have evidently given you super-speed :(

LordDargon 03-07-2005 01:06 PM

No, I just didn't waste time going to the site and quoting.
