Sorry for not making it clearer, my post was in no way racially motivated. I just can't stand listening to German singing and another thing, I find lyrics in songs a huge importance. If i don't understand the message the band is trying to get across, I find it hard to appreciate.

good point, but i find it the other way around.

i love listening to music in languages i dont understand (i took German, but it doesn't help me do anything but order food in Germany :rolleyes: ) it just seems so much more abstract.

you just have to learn to appreciate it as him using his voice as an instrumment, which we dont realize while listening to music in English.

just think, if you heard a guitar riff that just sounded amazing, you would love it. but realize that like vocals in foreign languages, the guitar doesn't speak to you directly in English. but you can hear the feeling the riff is letting off, and you can make your [i]own[/i] meaning from that.

i find it hard to choose which band is better. rammstein, NIN, marilyn manson and blink-182 are the main bands i listen to, i'd have to say i do like pretty much ALL of rammstein's songs, whilst some of NIN's really distorted, loud music isn't that good, but its mostly a lot easier to sing along to.

I heard that Richard came up with that riff when he was a kid. And also if ya didn't know u can back track the riese, reise cd and hear a plane crash from a flight recorder
