I'm so happy for you Superpeer. Would you like a cookie?

twistinside 09-05-2004 05:49 AM

The Ashtray Girl 09-05-2004 05:51 AM

But of course. Hey, do you wanna hear a secret? [whisper]cookies are the source of life[/whisper]

twistinside 09-05-2004 05:52 AM

Oli_m 09-05-2004 06:02 AM

Yeah, erm, so i've been back at school the past few days. Its weird but ill get used to it. I saw my friends band who were awesome!

Br3ad_man did a great Aphex Twin review! :thumb:

Cookies are great!

Happymeal 09-05-2004 06:15 AM

I think I should buy a new deodorant for school. Speed Stick sucks. OMG 2 days of summer left!!!:upset: Hm.. I never really checked out Aphex Twin before. Might as well. Eh, cookies? I dig those mini Chips Ahoy cookies with M&M's

Oli_m 09-05-2004 07:10 AM
Eh, cookies? I dig those mini Chips Ahoy cookies with M&M's
Those are the best kind.

Tapeworm 09-05-2004 08:11 AM

br3ad_man 09-14-2004 11:55 PM

Happymeal 09-15-2004 05:00 AM

Darn, you lucky boy. I miss college gigs in the Philippines..:upset:

Tapeworm 09-15-2004 06:57 AM

I had a job interview today. "I hope I get it, I hope I get it!"

thetwaz 09-15-2004 06:58 AM

what job you going for?

Wanker 09-15-2004 08:21 AM

ugh. i just woke up and i have class in 45 minutes. i can't wait till this semester is over. in my writing class, we actually have to write 5 3-page reports. but they each need a 5 page freewrite rough draft and a 2 page middle draft. poop :upset:

(home)work sucks

The Ashtray Girl 09-15-2004 08:26 AM

On the upside, I'm on MX whilst everyone else is doing Games.

On the down side, I got a really majorly crappy part in the school play (Twelfth Night) ~cries~ and I have a ridiculous amount of work at the moment.

But hey, I'm amazed I can post, I was convinced they were gonna ban me along with the rest of Humor's thread. Anyone know what happened, I can't quite work it out.

Tomahawk 09-15-2004 08:35 AM

Hmm... today, I almost crashed the car. But then I didn't.

Also, I saw the movie "The Village". It was not a good experience.

Wanker 09-15-2004 08:39 AM
Also, I saw the movie "The Village". It was not a good experience.
yeah, people said that the movie was either scary as hell or the stupidest movie ever.

guitarbaz 09-15-2004 08:48 AM
Also, I saw the movie "The Village". It was not a good experience.
Yeah, I've heard it's not quite as good as the critics have ben saying. And any good movie of that ilk really won't be a 12. i mean, you need scary s.hit and people being killed horribly.
or maybe that's just me...

thetwaz 09-15-2004 09:42 AM

Generally as long as it has some sort of rotted corpse in, a movie can keep me from sleeping for a fair while. (ie. Ghost Ship, I still leave the door of my cupboard open at night :upset: )

Tomahawk 09-15-2004 09:45 AM

Only 2 movies have ever scared me. The Shining, and Silence of the Lambs. I'm so tuff.

Yeah anyways, I didn't really expect the Village to scare me, I just kinda hoped that it wouldn't be too painfully boring.

Ringu (the original Japanese version of the Ring) scared the living s.hit out of me. and i can still make my g/f scream like a girl (so to speak) when i do the "coming out of the TV funny walk" thing.
i'm one evil mofo. :naughty:

thetwaz 09-15-2004 10:11 AM

He has his moments, Unbreakable was a really imaginative take on the superhero genre, and the Sixth Sense was pretty good too.

Tomahawk 09-15-2004 10:14 AM

Yeah Shmamyamalan is super overrated. Sixth Sense and Unbreakable are pretty good, but Signs is stupid. He's got a swerve fetish. He's probably like that all the time. Like, "I'd like to order a cheeseburger... HAHAH! SWERVE! I WANT A BIG MAC! Oh man I totally had you going there!"

I will say that the Village was visually really good, but other than that it was suckful.

Tapeworm 09-15-2004 10:20 AM

^^^ haha, exactly what I would assume.
what job you going for?
A job at the nice big corporate screwball record shop, Sanity.

Wanker 09-15-2004 10:22 AM

yeah, signs did suck, actually.

it really wasnt scary at all.
