i just sat through a two hour long recital that my brother was in. the only upside was that my gf was there =/
it was at some super strict church for some reason, so i wore my mastodon shirt (it has Blood Mountain's album artwork on it) and had a lady get all mad and she was like "what is that... that thing? it looks demonic!"
so i was like "why, its Lucifer's favourite pet ofc!"
then she got v. mad and almost slapped me but instead told me to put my hoodie on and not let anyone see it. so i didnt wear it and i pissed a few other people off royally :D

I went to church for a few years w/ my brother just to get a free lunch out afterward

We always got there after jesus worship and left early before they did the thing where they asked people to come to the front and accept jesus

i would sit through church to get free eats, the bible is pretty violent so it's like a B movie

my church wasn't that bad since it was a high school service and the youth pastor was actually pretty funny for about 45 minutes. The last 10 minutes or so was when the appeal to emotion bullpoop was laid on thick

and there was an entertainment room w/ a basketball court, videogames, ipods, etc.

So I'd go there w/ my brother until my mom and dad got out of the (boring) adult service
