I can do the mixing...I'm fairly pro with Audacity. If I'm recording the vocal last as well it would probably be easier for me to mix it at the same time.

Chris is working on the drums as we speak. He got a Duallist double bass pedal today (double bass pedal, but you only need one foot) so it's going to be interesting...we might have some crazy bass drum going on which wasn't there before.

I'll go round his house and make sure he records it on Thursday, unless he already has, so I can send it off to everyone.

Creepin_Deth, I'll need your e-mail, the bass is pretty important!
if you cant mix it, im always free
I've got a birthday coming up and I'll be getting upwards of five hundred dollars. What Iron Maiden stuff should I buy? I already have NotB and Powerslave and the self-titled are on my list. What are some of the best albums and DVDs etc to buy? Are any of the box sets worthwhile?
Your getting $500 dollars and spending it on maiden............................. your best bet would be to get the new Iron maiden album the new live one i mean and Brave new world if you dont already have it. :thumb: DONT BUY BOX SETS AND DVD'S NOT WORTH IT
DONT BUY BOX SETS AND DVD'S NOT WORTH IT
i beg to differ......

Deth 09-26-2005 05:47 AM

To be honest, I would much rather have all the albums than box sets.

Yeah, my computer sucks and can't record. Sorry.

-The Frank 09-26-2005 05:51 AM

Ed the HEad has all the cds plus a interview cd plus a real cool head box thing with flashing esyes!!!!!!

-The Frank 09-26-2005 05:52 AM

also, if you have 500 dollars you can get all the cds pluys a FEW box sets

Deth 09-26-2005 05:56 AM

There's other stuff I'm sure he wants, not just Maiden stuff.

the_uber_penguin 09-26-2005 06:14 AM
Whats a fairly easy Maiden solo?
Second solo in Blood Brothers (Jannick's). The Wicker Man isn't too hard either.

I've just finished learning the solos from The Trooper :D I'm so happy! It's rewarding to be able to play the whole song through :)

Thanks buddy :)

Would an Iron Maiden/ Kiss -esque band sound good with female lead vocals? Just something I've been wondering... (with good female lead vocals, mind)

andyhainey 09-26-2005 10:12 AM

When everyone else has recorded...it's so much easier that way.

crag 09-26-2005 11:18 AM

ugh, im confused, you both have the same avatar

andyhainey 09-26-2005 12:01 PM

Why not? If the vocals suit the music (they don't have to be good) then go for it...

As for this Online Band thing, I'm assuming that the drums are recorded first and then the drum track is sent to everyone and then we send our tracks to the mixer...

andyhainey 09-26-2005 12:32 PM

yes :)

crag 09-26-2005 12:37 PM
yes, if you READ, you'll notice that i said all band members should have this avatar as their picture
smart blockhead 09-26-2005 02:47 PM

Yeah, I'm planning on buying other stuff too. I may check out that box set and see if I'm willing to spend however much it is on it. Whats the best DVD of their earlier stuff? I've decided I'm buying the self-titled, Killers, and Powerslave so far.

andyhainey 09-26-2005 03:25 PM

good man :thumb:
