But **** I hate metallica's new image. Their old image was so raw, it was awesome.

Wasn't Metallica the number one concert draw throughout the 90's? Their concerts kick so MUCH A*S*S! I've only been to one but it was awesome. I mean, the pyro before One!......I can still feel the heat.... :D

I don't think their image or their music sucks. I'm tired of these guys whining that, "Oh boo hoo, Metallica sold out after Kill 'Em All." And yes, there are some who think that. I dislike Kill 'Em All the most because I only like a few songs from it. So, my point is, THEY KICKED ***, THEY KICK ***, AND THEY WILL ALWAYS KICK ***!

When people laugh at you for being a Metallica fan and they say "they put out that piece of **** album St. Anger", ask them if they've seen them live. That will shut them up.

Rob looks like Donkey Kong. Therefore, he's cool.
Ulrich looks like a douche as always. He's a douche.
James looks like...well, James. Cool look.
Kirk looks the same as he has since late '97 - early '98...he's Kirk. His look is cool.

This thread wasn't actually designed for kissing Metallica's a[color=white]s[/color]s. As long as he justifies his opinion and isn't mindlessley flaming the band it's alright. At little bit of diversification is a good thing otherwise this thread is going to get wonderously stale.

Why do people moan about image?! Its the music that matters, who cares what hair style Lars Ulrich has or how cool Hetfield looks, they are musicians, not fashion models.

Image matters to some people the way that it doesn't matter to you. Everyone is different and has different beliefs.

lol hell yeah. Only Jason could sing that line "die, mother****er die!!!" lol that's so great. And my favorite part of live Creeping Death is when Jason sings the last part.
I listened to Merciful Fate like 3 times today...it was great. "I was made a mercenary, in the legions of he-ee-ell..." I think I'm going to go watch both Live **** and Cunning Stunts concerts, that'll be a blast. Then get overtaken with adrenaline and drum through the last 2 hours of the show.

Rob is better live.

I've never really liked Jason anyway. Rob is far better in my opinion.

Edit: Never heard anything by Rob, so I'm concluding from his image, which is bad, yes but meh, I'll get over it when I hear some of his work (Or see them Live, whichever comes first).
