Yeah, I liked Sin City a lot. It really captivated me while I was watching it.

Arucard 06-10-2005 05:33 PM

Wow, i am so damn happy. I just went to jam with that funk rock band on drums and :

1 : They are so talented.
2 : They are so cool.
3 : They keyboard player is a prison warden, and he beat a foreign guy with a truncheon today after the guy attacked him.
4 : After the first song they were like 'your in the band.'
5: They thought i did so well that we have a gig this Sunday after only one jam.

Okay, so i found an i-pod lying in the snow this winter. I have been waiting to get a hookup to my computer from someone for months now. Today i got it and went to put my music on it, and the name of it was "John Doe's Ipod" And John Doe is one of my really good friends.

Should i give it back?

Arucard 06-10-2005 05:38 PM

No, just keep it and spit in his face.

Neurotoxin 06-10-2005 05:39 PM

Congratulations man!

Yeah, I was either being really impressed or I was laughing at all the mutilation. (Strange sense of humour, I always have awkward moments at the cinema).

Neurotoxin 06-10-2005 06:19 PM

I've had my awkward moments at the cinema as well, that's for sure. Not just because of my strange sense of humour, but also because I'm 6'5" and don't fit ideally in the seats.

What kind of sense of humor?

I can't stand really tall people at the theaters. No offense to you personally, but it just annoying to have someone's head blocking half of the screen.

superpeer 06-10-2005 06:49 PM

Usually in the cinema, when someone dies and everyone goes "aww :( " or "Oh no :(" or ":upset:", I go "Hahahaah !"

Then people think I'm weird. :(

Bartender 06-10-2005 06:58 PM

Glad you liked Sin City. In that general topic area, I need to go out to buy something to eat tomorrow.

Beck was on Jools Holland, which was good.

There was a kid who did that during Star Wars 3. I wanted to smack the **** out of him, but he was with his mom.

Death in movies always depends on context.

Sometimes it is a sad death, sometimes it's a death that makes you nod your head and say, "That's a pretty damn cool death."

I don't laugh at deaths all that much unless they're intended to be funny or if they're really really cheesy.

I'm installing World of Warcraft right now.

How much does that game cost?

magicbus 06-10-2005 08:24 PM
How much does that game cost?
50 bucks, and then 15 a month.

Endless Obsession 06-10-2005 08:30 PM
50 bucks, and then 15 a month.
Thats ridiculous. I would never spend that kind of money on a video game.

Illmatic 06-10-2005 08:32 PM

I don't much care for online games, because they are populated by people who spend much, much more time playing them than I do.

I played SOCOM at a friend's house and I was killed like, 10 seconds into the game.

Same with me and CS. Then they are all like "omggg that nOOb tot11y just got headh0t pwned"

magicbus 06-10-2005 08:36 PM

I used to play CS, I can't stand SOCOM's gameplay, and with my current job, 15 bucks a month is nothing, so I'll enjoy WOW.

I'm not the kind of guy that can lay down 15 bucks a month on a computer game. It's what happens when you don't have a job.

*looks in wanted ads for jobs*

Yeah I know...my teammates in SOCOM voted me off the team. What a bunch of douchebags. I wish I could practice for six hours a day, fellas, but I just don't have that time on my hands.

Heh. That reminds me of when I was watching Saw In my cinema. It was pretty sucky. The best part when was this main guy was sitting there with this lady he was having an affair with, and they were both half naked. The guy looks at her with this sympathetic look and says "I can't do this any more." Then, there was this long silence. Some random guy sitting in the theater then yelled "FUCK HER!!!" It was funny as hell. :p

If I was in that theater with you, that would have been me. I love making funny comments during movies.

While we're talking about the all-time most douchebag-y comments to girls...

My sophomore year in HS we were playing dodgeball in gym. I love dodgeball, it's the most Darwinian sport out there---the strong survive and the weak get pelted with dodgeballs and possibly get hurt.

So we were playing, and someone hums a dodgeball right into some girl's crotch. She goes down and starts rolling on the floor in pain as everyone kind of crowds around.

Then one of my friends pushes through the crowd, points at her, and says, "POW! RIGHT IN THE CATCHER'S MITT!"

Everyone died laughing.

Like I just did? Man that's funny.

Sup thread. There's a lot of hatred for "Ocean's Twelve" it seems, but I love it and am going to watch it in a few minutes.
