I am trying to find Summer employment to not much avail
I might have to apply to McDonalds :[ should be 'ok' since a few of my friends work there but mehhhhh |
Yeah I need a summer job as well, sucks.
ive had a job for the last year and a half. until last week i was working 50hrs/wk between my job at noodles and my internship at walgreens
I'll be working at the same place this summer that I've worked at the past two summers. It's basically an internship (answering phones, various paperwork, **** no one else wants to do). I make $8.50/hour to sit on my *** and play around on the internet for 8 hours. No complaints here. :)
I hate walgreens they opened up 2 in my town last year which is only like a 5 mile radius to begin with and both opened across the street from pre-existing pharmacies
Good thing we have so many places for kids to get their pills from hoo boy |
I work 10 hours a week and get paid craploads for the small amount of work I do.
walgreens is elite. that place smells absolutely amazing
In a couple of weeks I'm about to start this temporary job for the summer
Setting up hoses and sprinklers 9-5 at an apartment building. No complaints based on the general concept, we'll have to see how much it actually sucks |
Sounds like one of the worst jobs ever.
Pretty sure I have a job lined up, but I think I'll have my options open because I'll be done with school and stuff. Pretty excited to work full time and have lots of spending money.
I feel like **** getting money from my dad. |
No job for me over summer. I would like one, but it's awkward spending summer in two places and likely going away a few times too.
i always do since the more i get from my parents the less theyll have for the house payment
do you go home to england over the summer, deth?
I've been here over 11 years now, so idk whether it can really be regarded as home now. We've been back like 7 times in that span, usually for about 3 weeks, but it's so expensive.
Whereabouts in England you go?

NOT THE BACK NO
I've been here over 11 years now, so idk whether it can really be regarded as home now. We moved here for my dad's job. He went to South America a lot so they relocated us here so he could go more often, cheaper etc. Supposed to just be here for 2 years, but **** happens.
ugh what happened?
i miss home alot :( this place sucks |
well the place my dad worked in England shut down like 4 months before we were supposed to go back, so he had no job there. Decided to stay here with a sure thing. Stayed around a few years, parents wanted me to get through high school here, then that turned into college, dad died in a motorcycle accident, sister started high school, lost any real reason to go home.
Kinda sucks, but it just evolved into what it is. As it stands my green card runs out in 2012, I have no clue what I'm going to do. |
world ends then anyways dude, makes the decision easier
yeah srsly, just a case of finding the best place to loot stuff while I can

yes but they are v. expensive
expensive
and they tend to not be very good anyways
there's a few things i cant make out though, devin townsend talks surprisingly fast when he gets going and **** unelite cell phone reception |
hai lemonader sup
edit: **** yuo tyler |
hopefully I'll work at the same place in the summer but shifts are cut in half so idk
if I don't get any shifts fml |
Listening to the new Mastodon.
The first song is actually pretty sweet.
The drummer is singing the intro, he has a great voice (compared to the bassist). Love that track and The Czar. |
Album rules.
yeah hated it at first but love it now
oblivion rules so hard, dailor should sing more |
Yeah I had to listen to it again after The Czar (which also ruled).
probably gonna get the new mastodon I've heard from a friend (who knows little about music mind you) that it kind of has more of a classic rock undertone is this true?
More like classic prog.
More like classic prog.
