Neuraxis are great. whats up with there being so many great canadian metal bands?
|
Cryptopsy ftw.
The Canadians just seem to have it all. Humour, metal, pleasant manners. I wish I was Canadian then I could be part of Protest the Hero and get recognition. |
yeah thats all they demand to be in their band
|
They're actually pretty cool. But I can't listen to them for too long because they make me feel like a crappy guitarist. All I can do is nail intros to songs like Alaska by Between the Buried and Me and tune down to drop B to do grindcore guitar.
Although I did learn Bland Street Bloom by SikTh. And Scent of the Obscene. That was hard. |

blah blah blah |
Neuraxis are pretty good
|
Canadian music rules to be honest. Certainly one of the better scenes. But don't think it's all like that, there's more shitty post-nu-grunge-metal bands than you can shake a stick at.
|
but those bands are everywhere. you cant judge a country by the bad bands, if you did, all countries would suck. same with genres.
well, i guess most people around these here parts like thinking things suck more than they like thinking things are good though |

grotesque ITT \m/
That riff is not that entertaining tbh. It's kinda generic imo.
I can see where someone might find it generic but I love it allow me to make this up to you :D Mordicus - Blood Under Ice - as soon as it kicks in (there are no vocals) an awesome riff is right around (:16 through :45) but specifically the section thats happens around (:26 - :28) |

Are there any good death metal bands that a metalcore fan would like?
|
cryptopsy - none so vile
album's got mad 'mosh riffz' |
It would desecrate his delicate ears though
|
It would desecrate his delicate ears though
I'm pretty sure I can handle it... Thanks for the concern though. |
deicide, any album/era would work too
there's also the melodic death, but that whole hornets nest is too much for me to deal with here |
