so yeah tomorrow i'm getting paid to go into work and sit in the office for 3 hours.

I had our like 50" tv on, lights on in rooms I wasn't in, 2 computers on and was cooking food in the oven, stove and microwave.

Talent show was super cool. I played flawlessly and i think the rest of my band did as well.

From what everybody told us we got the most cheering afterwards and the only standing ovation.

Apparently they liked it :thumb:.

my band's playing at a talent show tonight but we just found out yesterday we only have time to play 1 song. we originally thought we were going to do 3 songs, and now it's barely worth the time and effort of packing everything up and driving out there to play, when we could instead use that time to practice for our actual show tomorrow.

That sucks man. I hate that

Well no tbh joel I can see his point. One song hardly seems worth all that gear

I played for 5 minutes but it was my first big show so i think it was worth it.

Bad part about being the drummer is that you have to pack up all of your stuff as everybody else talks to the crowd and socializes. I went to the guitarist's house afterwards and i felt so exhausted all i wanted to do was lie down. Everybody was playing Cranium while i was on his couch.

I felt like a loser, but oh well.
