about to head out to school to take my first midterm for my Linear Algebra class. i dont know how this passed off as being an upper-division class because it's the easiest one i've had to take so far. i only have 50 minutes to answer 6 questions (some are proofs), so wish me luck. i'll be back here around noon

Calc 1 was in the middle between hard and easy.
Calc 2 was hard as ****
Calc 3 was easy
Differential Equations was hard as hell, but doable. I got an A, so it must be quite doable.

That's the same thing I've heard about the maths.

Seeing as we're both Civil Engineering majors, how are the classes after the math base?

It is. The thing is I would rather take real calc seeing how it is physics based, which applies much more to Architecture than some financial version of calculus.

It seems pretty dumb you can't take regular calculus in it's place.

Its easier on me, so I can't complain too much.

Haha, my sister had a Romanian chemistry teacher when she was 15 or so. His Swedish wasn't the best.

Half the time I think he is making up words, but then I realize he is just butchering words like multiply, derivative or function etc. I spend half the time trying to figure what he is saying.

We got out fist tests back and I got a 63 out of 100....the class average was a 55. This guy should not be teaching at all.

That actually sounds like a normal calc class. Does he grade on a bell curve?
