I think the problem is that we're dealing with people from the US. Namely, kids from the US who are so used to having their every whim satisfied instantly by an over-pampered world without ever lifting a finger. These people grow up into the selfish arseholes who never help their fellow man, but who will cry for help as soon as they need it. The people who hate cops until their house is robbed. The people who have babies to get pension money from the government. And I can only blame this on US society as a whole. As much as I like individual Americans, I feel the best thing for the world climate as a whole would be some kind of nationcide, preferably with blunt hammers. But hey, this is just a simple guy who hates Americans talking.

You sure have on twisted view on America. OK, maybe not. In fact, I know a lot of kids like that who are going to grow up and be total arseholes. Yeah, it's unfortunate. But nationcide? That's absolutely insane. I hope you were kidding, but I seriously doubt it.

Deep post Riva hehe. Not a unfair statement, though of course you can't throw everyone in the same boat (this rule applies to every general statement of course). I don't get the name change deal, all it does is cause confusion and hassles mods. I'll admit being guilty to one name change and one large avatar request, but the name change was back when DoubleBassJim still had a thread where you could request a name change and give a reason as to why.


EDIT: You'd think people knew Riva well enough by now to be able to read out what is serious and what isn't in that post...

I agree for the most part of what Riva said, but as an American who hasnt had everything given to him, who's had to work since the legal age you can be to work, who goes out of his way to help others because I know how it feels to not have any help at all, I take a little offense to the whole nationocide thing. Ive been to other countries and just because the U.S.A is always in the limelight doesnt mean we're the only ones who need "cleansing".
