rattlehead42147 12-15-2007 01:07 AM

I'm not quite sure on these:
Master
Malevolent Creation (Retribution era)
Disincarnate (anything with James Murphy is usually in D standard)
Slaughter (the canadian one)

C.O.A. 12-15-2007 01:09 AM

thanks.

rattlehead42147 12-15-2007 01:12 AM

are you wanting to learn some new tunes on a set up for D-standard guitar?

C.O.A. 12-15-2007 01:19 AM

yeah

imayormaynotbeatherobots 12-15-2007 03:04 AM
Monstrosity get kind of boring after awhile but they're still pretty solid. I don't think any of their songs are nearly as memorable as "Firestorm," unfortunately!
Cannibal Corpse > Monstrosity :/

LifeInABox 12-15-2007 07:51 AM

Why don't you just tune it how the band is tuned and learn something you want to learn?

masscows 12-15-2007 08:33 AM
Cannibal Corpse > Monstrosity :/

Cannibal Corpse > Monstrosity :/
gtfo fag

Also B standard is the most metal tuning.

LifeInABox 12-15-2007 10:14 AM

E Standard is the best tuning period.

pate 12-15-2007 10:41 AM

D standard FTW

Pete 12-15-2007 11:26 AM

i like fingering the g string in a minor

SugarCoatedSour 12-15-2007 12:34 PM

I like talking useless **** in a big verbal ho-down with all you metalites. Bonkers

C.O.A. 12-15-2007 01:05 PM
Why don't you just tune it how the band is tuned and learn something you want to learn?
What? That is essentially what I am doing, or, was doing.

Valhall 12-15-2007 01:29 PM

Full drop C ftw. You can play almost anything from C# in C and it still sounds good. That's one of the benefits I've found.

RetiredAt21 12-15-2007 01:53 PM

Drop C *yawn*

Valhall 12-15-2007 02:09 PM

What do you guys think of Organ Harvest?

masterchaos 12-15-2007 02:18 PM
You should probably listen to some of their good albums.
I dont see anything wrong with their Millennium album instrument wise. Just dont like how the vocals were mixed.

Angmar 12-15-2007 02:25 PM

Then listen to Spiritual Apocalypse or Imperial Doom and hear good vocal mixing and better music.

Valhall 12-15-2007 02:47 PM

Man, I just scored a shitload of killer death and deathgrind. This shit's good.

Eviscerated: Gorging on Rotting Entrails
Vomitory: Revelation Nausea
Nunslaughter: Appetite for Flesh
Organ Harvest: Organ Harvest
Ceremonial Oath: Carpet

Great shit.

Eliminator 12-15-2007 02:49 PM

Yo, who's your dealer?

Deathgrind ain't cheap around here. Ten-sacks are way overpriced.
