Yeah, I'm a huge Lor of The Rings fan. I could read them for days. War of the Worlds is a good book. I did it for a book report when I was in junior high.

For my English class I'm reading Huckleberry Finn, and I'm about to throw it out the window into the middle of a street and watch a car run over it :angry:

I read Huck Finn this year too... But for my summer reading its The Crucible. At least its a play, so its really easy.

I could read 100 pages in 30-40 mins if it interests me. I did the new Harry Potter book in about 2 days, but if it doesn't I takes ages.

I was supposed to read "The Oedipus Cycle". I never found the exact book anywhere. I found the trilogy stuff, but only like Antigone and the cliff notes to the 3 plays. I just said **** it but tried to at least read it.

Now I realized that I should've read it even if it sounded like **** when I answered it in an essay. Our english teacher is showing our parents what we did so far...>.>

Anything other in tests when it comes to English is my secret weapon. I can just about suck at everything, but I can just put a half-assed effort (or so it feels like that) into a long paper, and the teacher is impressed by my writing.
