Apparantly my friend said he saw the Living Dead Beat video the other day but I read on the site that they were doing AYDY next, we'll just have to wait and see eh.

repcak 01-22-2006 02:19 PM

AYDY is propably their next... i agree... the riff at the begin of the song is great but the middle section is weak :(

Britton 01-22-2006 02:20 PM

I hope they release Are you dead yet next.

On my Myspace I have that loaded to play whenever someone views my profile
and people keep telling me it makes them jump.

another one of my favorites is Next in line...that song gets me so pumped

:P you think Are You Dead Yet makes them jump...You should put Job For A Cowboy - Entombment Of A Machine. Now that will make them jump...

IheartSP 01-22-2006 02:38 PM

Normally music in people's myspace's piss me off cuase 9 times outta ten its suttin crappy and when it isn't I'm already listening to music anyway.

eddie_the_great 01-22-2006 03:16 PM

I know what you mean. It just plays over the top of my music. There must be some option to disable it somewhere.

MRDuCran 01-22-2006 03:17 PM

Yeah, press the stop button.

eddie_the_great 01-22-2006 03:18 PM
I know, I listen to Marty Friedman!

It's just that, that solo doesn't really seem as good as some of the others he's written, although I do love the first 4 bars that he plays.
Friedman > Speed
Yeah, press the stop button.
I mean so it doesn't start playing in the first place.

MRDuCran 01-22-2006 03:32 PM

O, well, I dno then since I don't use MySpace.

Lemme help with Myspace for what it's worth.

Go to, http://www.filelodge.com I believe it is.

It's a free hosting thing, up to 50 MB per file, 500 (I think) per account.
It's free.

Upload your mp3 to it. Change the title from.

"Chokehold(Cocked n' loaded".mp3 to 1.mp3 .

Some reason if you leave the whole title it can act up.

Then go to that, mygen.uk site or w/e it is.

Grab the html for "video and music".

Copy your file lodge link for the song,

paste it in.
Click generate. cut n paste your code into "about me" as it says.

BTW, select "embeded". (It forces your music on others, no stopping it:thumb:

And what will this do?

I'm practically Computer illiterate

IheartSP 01-22-2006 03:55 PM

Britton did you ever figure anything out with the college situation?
Britton did you ever figure anything out with the college situation?
I haven't decided were I want to go yet. I talked to a guy over the phone from
guitar institute and he said I would have a really good chance of getting in.

But that's in California...and I'm not sure if my parents would go for that.

Could you look in your book for a collage in San Antonio called UTSA that would be really helpfull.

How about you? what are you gonna do?

Dude....awsome

I'm gonna do it

IheartSP 01-22-2006 04:12 PM

Well I've got three years to think about it, and unfortunately my book is not with me, but at 8:30 or so I'll look it up for you. As far as I know now, I'm gonna try my best to get into Berklee without having to pay the full price.

I would have to pay at least half price if not more to get into GIT in California
but that's not the problem. the problem is me being away from home and my parents not liking that idea (I love it...but they don't)

I've only got one more year and it's gonna be a intresting one. We shall see how my band turns out and where that goes. And depending on how that goes I'll know where I'm going to school

IheartSP 01-22-2006 04:30 PM

Idk what my band is gonna do in 2.5 years when were all gonna go to college. Unless were signed or suttin by then, I get all the shit and have to start over again wherever I end up.

Shadows 01-22-2006 04:37 PM

I'll be leaving for college next year. I'm a little nervous that majoring in music and making it my life will kill my love of it, which I've heard is pretty common. But even more, I'm excited to finally leave and dedicate my life to music without having 10000 things to distract me from doing what I love.

IheartSP 01-22-2006 04:53 PM

Yeah I hate school and parents and all the other stuff that stops me from doing stuff with music. Cause of my bad grades I can't go online till 6 at night during weekdays, that impacted my time for doin music related stuff.

Shadows 01-22-2006 04:54 PM

Homework and my job has slowed down my progress in music insanely. I rarely get to play as long as I aim for, and sometimes I can't play at all. I hate it.

IheartSP 01-22-2006 05:13 PM

You just gotta learn how to live off of 4 hours of sleep.

Shadows 01-22-2006 05:16 PM

I could do perfectly well off of 4 hours of sleep, but it's hard to stay up that late when my parents are nazis about when I go to sleep.

Dash 01-22-2006 05:30 PM

I just bought Hatecrew Deathroll and it kicks ***. Now I want to buy more Bodom, any suggestions on the next cd I should purchase?

IheartSP 01-22-2006 06:00 PM

Hatebreeder or Follow the Reaper.

eddie_the_great 01-22-2006 06:11 PM

Follow the Reaper, then Hatebreeder.

Britton 01-22-2006 07:03 PM

I still need hatebreeder I have 3 or so songs off of it...

I'm not sure I want do music as a career either. I know a guy who owns a couple radio stations and he said he could get me a aprenticeship at one of them...so it would be a career in that sense.

This one guy I know who Majored in music (and is a incredible piano/guitar player) he works at a local music store talks about how much music annoys him. Because he has to watch all these sucky guitar players come in and turn the amps up when they can hardly play....he gets so mad at some of them.

I'm Charming 01-22-2006 07:31 PM
You just gotta learn how to live off of 4 hours of sleep.
Damn right you are.

I fall asleep at 5 AM most nights. Get up at... 8 to 8:30AM range.

Then shower and head off to college...

I do everything I that has to be done during the day, in the day.

Example, no jamming at 2AM......sadly.....

I save most computer related things for night/morning time.
No distractions is a plus.
Helps I have a laptop in my room and a desktop in the TV room upstairs... and Parents are downstairs... How I love that.:thumb:

Edit: I have hatebreeder aleady ripped. Gimme your AIM or MSN, I'll send you it.
