I swear I'm the only Metallica fan on these forums (whose not a fanboy, if you get my meaning).
I'm not a big thrash fan either, but pretty much from a few songs from Ride the Lightning to the Black Album were all kickass. |
fade to black is a good song
|
Apocalyptica covered a bunch of Metallica songs =D
And yes. PMS extends during the bleeding part, too, for girls who PMS. |
what metallica songs did they cover
|

|
For us they did Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters, but they released an entire CD of Metallica covers.
And there's a bunch of youtube videos. |
I really only like Metallica's clean stuff.
Their clean stuff is pretty cool but even still Hetfield's voice kills hit. Or is it Hepfield? |
I think Hetfield was at his best with his harsh singing, rather than his clean singing (which sounds country-ish to me).
Whats everyones experience with Evans EC2's? are they really flat and dead sounding? or do they have some tone to them?
I've been wondering this as well. No one I know has them and I cant seem to find a single video on youtube that has decent quality audio of them. How is everyone today? T |
I use EC2 on my largest tom on any given kit. They are kinda dead sounding. Defeats the who point of good shells and edges. Who wants to make a DW sound like an Export?
|
That's what I've always said about muffled heads. Slight sustain and overtones help the drum to cut through, honestly.
|
I think Panopticon uses EC2's so you could ask him when he's around.
Or maybe they're EC1's...I forget. |
They're OK.
I'd never buy them again. Used them once, they sounded OK, went back to Coated Ambs. |
i just figured out the whole hammer on business in guitar hero finally lol.
|
Goin' to Indiana.
See ya punks! |
yeah yeah yeah spending $500 of taxpayer's money on musical instruments for my work today.

Really random question here people:
How do you pronounce the word for "one" in Japanese? Is it "itchy" or "itch"? |
Uno.
Dos. Tres mujeres comen mi caca. o lol |
Really random question here people:

So whats the deal with "ichi the killer"?
They all pronounce it as "itchy" And I was taught at school (which was a language college) that it's "itchy" too. I always remembered "1 2 3" as "itchy knee san" |
