could someone explain cleary what it means in the drum tunning bible as distortion free sound. I don't fully understand its meaning

Um well i just spend 400$ on some Thirty Two boots.
I got Burton Freestyle bindings tonight, only because they were relitivly cheap.. and they have lifetime warranty on the baseplates.
And i got a Rossignol District for HELLA chea brand new.. eff im stoked for this winter.
I didnt spend 600$ on a board because i figured it wasnt worth it.. i would feel like a jerk riding in our woods trails at the hill... ew gouges :(

migraine. bad migraine. ow.

i made it through about 45 minutes of being awake before it first started settling in. made it through another hour, stood up to go to my locker and get some pills and got really dizzy, just told the teacher i was going home. came home and laid down in the dark for 5 hours. if it happens again tomorrow, i decided i'm going to the doctor. these things are getting worse every time.

holy **** that happened to me too. i just woke up with a splitting headache and it felt like my head was going to burst. headaches suck.:angry:

so i got my K custom dark hats today, they look brand new, no stick marks or anything. This is good AND bad, i kinda thought they where some of the older ones but i guess ill have to break em in myself! Havnt gotten to play em yet at all, just look at em cause my setup is at band practice area.

started a side project with my keyboarding friend. I just wanted to record some stuff with him but now he labeled it a sideproject so it sounds cooler and more important when we tell people/ He wanted to make like industrial stuff but like im drum n bassing it up. most of you dont know what drum n bass really it will confuse you but its turning out really nicely. i wont be here all of christmas break hopefully it will be finished this wekend if he doesnt go to tahoe.

alot of people here know what drum n bass is, if thats what you were trying to say lol

breakbeat.co.uk they have some streams, some videos. I just got my dj hype limited edition shirt. Doesnt have anything to good out but its the only drum n bass shirt under 50 bucks. See if you can find some high contrast, pendulum, or shy fx. those are some good examples.

just bought some parts for my lectric drums. I got the hook ups at ACE hardware. but they dont have foam.

I remember when we all first started, with first band in Australia, all we would play was System of a Down. Mainly the easy stuff, because he didn't really have much skill back then. We played Chop suey, Toxicity (tried to), ATWA, Innervision, CUBErt, among others.

I remember my guitar-playing-friend came to me and asked me to try and learn Schism. I had a listen, and I just couldn't comprehend what was going on. Waaay too advanced.

I know the reason I havn't been posting much is because some days it has been so slow on MX I just didn't want to put up with it.

Yeah, playing Schism as precisely and accurately as Carrey is almost inpossible.

Know what im really getting bored of? The constant emo bashing. Now bashing the pop bands pretending to be emo (ffaf, fall out boy, my chemical romance) is fine. Real emo is decent music, its just hardcore punk with different lyrics

Naw hardcore punk is stuff like Champion, Bane, Comeback Kid haha. Nowhere near emo and definately not lyricly. I don't even think the bands you name pretend to be emo at all. But like I said before they attract the 14-15 yr olds that don't know any better so they just label it "emo". The fashion is what does that sort of thing.....like the weird haircuts, guys wearing girl pants etc..etc.

True emo i would count as stuff like saetia, love lost but not forgotten, floor of red, when we fall.

Jim, good news, i brought them to school to take home to the studio afterwards and i tested em with the schools kit.... NOT dissapointed. Just amazing, AMAZING hats. Sound great half open as well as tight. Warm and amazing sound, not to mention they will get better with age! I always play solo in the morning in front of a crowd of about 10-20 people, all just watching me. It was kinda odd at first, but now ive gotten used to it and kinda like it. Not to mention now i can easily improv shred in front of groups of people!:chug:

^^ If I ever got X hats it would those but 13's...those are some nice hats man =].
