Hey everyone, what's up?

Not much, anything on your end.

Not much either, working. Although I played like four hours yesterday, up to like 3 AM, and I'm really sleepy, but I did find some cool settings on my Zoom 505 II, which so far hadn't been so great. It's a cool cheap effects pedal, anyone else here owns one?

I tried one before, didnt find anything that stood out about it.

I have one. I used it on my old amp mostly, and the only thing I liked about it was that it gave my amp more growl. Some of the delay and distortion/fuzz settings were nifty but I eventually realized I didn't need it. :thumb:

I like the factory A3 setting, the one that's supposed to make you sound old school fat, it's kindda cool.

The thing is that the factory settings are not so great, but if you tweak them a little you can get some strange sounds.

^Yeah, I think I had the 506 now that I think on it, now sure how different they are. I remember E3 or something had this weird techno-ish effect, where all you had to do was hit a note and it made all the noise for you. Was pretty fun, and loud :D

So yeah ... I'm writing another song. Very mellow so far.

Sadly, I already want another bass.

But a 4-string this time. I can't get a woody tone out of my Curbow.

You have a horrible case of gas then. Especially consider the fact that you just got a 7 string. But whatever floats your boat.

7-string was a month ago. Unfortunately I can't apply it to everything. I do have a bad case of G.A.S. but I need a WOOD-ish bass. :p The Curbow is wonderful, though, kicks most bass's ***. I just want a Conklin GT-4. :p After that I'm set basswise for life (unless, of course, upgrades count...)
