If you really want to start a conversation with her in those circumstances, You will have to find out stuff about her. Most people don't want to talk to anyone afterwork unless it is on a friday. Bump into her on her way out of work on a friday night.

Hmmm...good old fashioned stalking. It just might work. She works at the IBC bank inside of Wal-Mart, maybe I can use that to my advantage.

Rant from another thread:

I hate when people spell **** wrong all the time THEN blame dyslexia :) I'd have so much more respect for someone who just said "yeah i cant spell because im thick" not "shut up im dyslexic".

I mean really, i can string a coherent sentence together and im dyslexic. Sure i slip up with grammar and spelling occasionally but i can still spell simple words that these morons cant

Seafroggys 10-25-2005 05:40 PM

dyslexia and ATHD are overrated and overused in our society.

Frankly, I don't believe in ATHD, I think its just stupidity, and most people claim dyslexis don't really have it, just stupidity.

aznriceball 10-25-2005 05:41 PM

i dont see how u can say it doesnt exist without some proof

No...
I'm a senior in highschool.
Now that I've thought about it, the first two years of college are just general education classes.
I can just load up on the stuff I never took in highschool.

Janeway 10-25-2005 06:25 PM

When I'm out of highschool?
I'm definately going to college, don't know what for, and getting a job.
Then if my parents don't let my girlfriend live with me, I'm moving into an apartment/dorm/something with her.

You?

poppinfresh 10-25-2005 06:25 PM

im going to swim to america so i can pay for my 9 kids education back home.

Double Bass Jim 10-25-2005 06:34 PM

Hahahahaha ^^^

Live at home while you can, get a job and save up it's worth it. Living on your own costs ALOT of money.

But if that doesn't happen, I will keep my job as a mechanic here and coatch little league baseball on the weekends

Janeway 10-25-2005 06:39 PM

I should rephrase:
I'm going to move in with her in the apartment/dorm/something that her parents will be paying for while she attends college.
They wont know.

Daven 10-25-2005 06:51 PM

I need a little help with some tabs, so if someone could explain it to me would be great. Im trying to play Spiders by SOAD, but there are some notations in the tabs that i cant understand. Like the letter d or g. I think d stands for drag and g stands for ghost strike, but i dont know how to play them. I searched on google and on vicfirth, but i couldnt find too much about ghost strikes. I think its better for me to ask here than doing a thread on it, so if someone can explain those notations to me I would be very thankful.

poppinfresh 10-25-2005 06:58 PM

drag is like a ghosted double before the main hit. ghost is just a light tap on the snare, barely heard but enough to make an effect.

Daven 10-25-2005 07:06 PM

So i should hit the snare twice, but soft so you can hear it a bit.

poppinfresh 10-25-2005 07:12 PM

its like a reall quick thing thoguh. HOld on let me double check becaus ei havent been going through books lately. yeah but you have to play the double really quickly a lot like a grace note. and it has to be played before the main note. jujst listen to the song, thats the best way to figure it out. listen and replicate.

Yeah, i noticed the drummer plays the drag and the ghost really fast. So i gues i'll have to listen to the song some more. Thanks a lot man. :thumb:

Yes sir.

I've seen so many people try to move out early, they end up totaly failing and moving back in with their parents. Get a decent job and save your money while your living at home. Rushing into things like NEVER work.
