You can't just argue my points by saying, "pUll your head out of your ***" or "dUmb comment". Jesus christ, atleast try. And check out their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bmth I do not see long hair. Unless you think that emo cuts or hair barely touching the shoulder qualifies as long hair nowadays. |
ok you want me to argue your points you sarcastic prick?
only someone narrow minded like yourself will think that image plays as big of a part in music as you make it out to be, people listen to behemoth and bands of the same vein because they enjoy the music, not bcause of what they look like, im one of the few people on this site who enjoy's BMTH. me liking them has nothing to do with thier image, i think they make some catchy tunes. you coming into this thread and just randomly stirring up some shit makes you look dumb and doesnt further anyone's cause. You didnt bring up anything to talk about, all you did was talk about how gay certain people are. So before you start talking to me like i dont know how to argue or some shit look at your post which started it. You seriously need pull your head out of your *** or go play in traffic, pick one |
scarcastic
lol |
lol that was an awesome typo
News flash lol lolz. BMTH does not have long hair.
Right. So you're saying that in a play, costumes are not important? Why wear costumes when you have a screenplay or personalities? Their would be absolutely no point for linking the theme with image or putting any kind of theatrics into your art, right? This is true for metalcore. They don't put any effort into their theatrics or image because they are chicken shi ts. Again you can argue that they do this because they are being themselves. So if they actually are being themselves, than why do they all look like generic preps? I somehow disbelieve that none of them are attracted to the metal culture when.. their whole lives and music is based around metal. And bullpoop that image has nothing to do with music. Look at Behemoth or Anorexia Nervosa. They take time to associate an image with a theme and it is beautiful. Their is no way they could ever have the same effect with their music, music videos, or live performances if they looked like ordinary people. They would lose a large part of their originality. Ps: Backstreet Boys? When did wearing clothes from the Gap have to do with theatrics or an interesting image?
Music is an audio experiences not a visual experience. Fair enough when playing live theatrics and putting on a good live show, like muse one of my favourite bands do. But they dont dress like a bunch of cocks on stage either. Id much rather take the substance of a band writing quality music, which they play well live rather than the style and shallows nature of some fashioncore bands or glam metal. Sure when it comes to bands like behemoth I dont doubt that the image they portray is important. But metalcore like thrash is just done by people who feel comfortable in there own clothes. p.s I dont know were you come from but having shoulder length hair = long hair jackass EDIT : I cant believe I'm arguing over hair and clothes with reagrds to metal bands as well. But the banality of your argument has to be put down. |
Finally you make a worthwhile post...
and change your avatar. Nice. @bunit |
lol thanks, i just dont like he relates everything to image its stupid

I like that Behemoth dresses all over the top and has giant light up upside down crosses on stage with them.

both times ive seen them its been in a small club so its been more about the performance, but yes they do dress wierd

But for the record I liked their music before I saw them, so its not like I enjoy their music more because of it.
