nah the black album is the album metallica tried to write hook's. and it all came out a bit corny for me. previously their genious had just produced hooks naturally, so yeah id agree that black album is an overated metallica album. also 'bass boost' i agree with ya; tallica songs are great fun to play, specially the solos/interludes

Yeah, they're very easy. It's just I'm already sick off learning 'tallica. It was interesting when I just picked up guitar but now I'm more into writing my own stuff.

Although you should learn Jump In The Fire solos. They gave me a few ideas about improvising.

Well, the reason I haven't tried the solos, I'm kinda new to guitar, only been playing since the beginning of this year, but I've been on MX long enough to pick up a number of different pointers.
I can play Jump In The Fire until the first verse, I'm still kinda learning it, well, there are a few parts I'm not great with timing, an example being:

Well, if you've been playing since the begining of this year it's OK. Speed will come after you practice a lot. And remember, playing guitar 3-4 hours every day is much more useful than picking it up on a weekend and playing till night. So, good luck !

There are so many fairly accurate Tab websites that are free, why would you spend money for maybe 1 corrected note?

Sometimes people just prefer sheet music. I definetly prefer it for drums, but I like tabs for guitar better.
