When I was at university I posted a list of comedians I had on DVD-R from Comedy Central Presents specials. He was one of them.
I remember uploading Dane Cook and Mitch Hedberg. I can rip them onto the computer, perhaps, but it'd take me awhile on this connection. I'd have to let it run all night. |

ROFFLE!
 The latest bid was $65. I can't believe someone would pay more than two bucks for that. |
Jom, ever see Pablo Francisco on CCP? He's one of my favorites.
|
Zort Zomg of the fifth grade is selling two waffles for 65$ on eBay.
(What a nice little story that comes with the description) |

Dane Cook is also quite funny. One of my mormon buddies got me into him.
Wierd, I know @ my dad. He goes to me today "So Jake, do you have any sweet dates tonight?" (he asks me like every other day just to rub in the fact that I have no social life during the summer) Me: Yeah. I got one for my fist and your face all lined out! Him: Awesome. Where are we going? Me: The House of Blues. *shakes fist* Him: lozl |
^
|
Dane Cook is hilarious.
"If I could be one thing, I'd be an Alien...... You don't fuck with that!" |
I like the one about the black marker that smelled like ass.
"Oh here! You wanna smell the marker that smells like ass? " Comedy is so much funnier on TV. |
I love his bit about being catholic and going to church:
"There was peace. Yeah, peace. And you knew there was peace because the priest would be up there and say peace, five times rapid-fire. "And the peaceful disciples said, "The peace I have, the peace I give to you...as we eat Reese's Pieces with the Lord. And I have a piece of lint in my peaceful eye!" "We had snack. Yep, we'd be in the middle of mass and the priest would drop everything and say, "Let's have some yum-yuuuum's! I've made snaaaaack!" And so you'd go up and get in line, and you'd eat your Crouton-O-Christ! |

Haven't seen it in forever. Can't even remember most of it. |

I never did get to see that movie. That'll give me a reason to go watch it now. |
Crouton O Christ. Ownage.
NP: Shine on You Crazy Diamond- Pink Floyd This goes under the same orgasmic classification as Arriving Somewhere But Not Here. |
Haven't seen it in forever. Can't even remember most of it.
In the scene where they were holding the try-outs, Dane was The Waffler. |
Never seen the movie...What's it about?
|

Madagascar or Mystery Men? |
Madagascar has penguins in it, therefore its cool rating is through the roof.
|
I think I'm gonna see that with my girlfriend........
EDIT: I just figured out what movie we were talking about. |
Hahahha. That's true. Those guys were one of the best parts in the movie.
:thumb: |
I was referring to Mystery Men.
:upset: |
Everyone left. :upset:
|
Mystery Men is about loser superheroes. If that doesn't hook you, I don't know what will. Great cast, too.
Best performances were by Han Azaria, Geoffrey Rush, Bill Macy, Paul Reubens, and Ben Stiller. |
Not that many regulars on tonight.
|
I remember Mystery Men being a huge dissappointment. I was quite a youngin' when I saw it, though.
|
Glad you liked Mitch Hedberg, Jake.
I have a concert performance of his if you guys want it. It's very funny. So I've been watching stand up all night. I thought Stella was alright, but the Jay Mohr set was hilarious. |

I just have nothing to say... plus some douche in the Dime thread is trying to flame me. |
Usually there are more people on Friday nights. I guess we're just losers.
When did Mystery Men come out? I've never even heard of it, but it sounds like a pretty big time cast.. Oh, and also Steerpike. That Porcupine Tree album that was partially based on a screenplay that Steve wrote- It's going to be made into a movie as well. I Thought that may be of interest to you. :) |

Critics hated it, but it's a cult classic simply because Kinka Usher's vision and directing just had this sublime connection with all the actors. Geoffrey Rush's performance as the supervillain, Casanova Frankenstein, stole every scene he was in. |

I liked the part when the Stella dudes were describing their perfect summer day.
@ the Stella discussion |

The actual show is on Tuesday, you didn't miss it yet. Tonight was just their stand up episode. The summer day was pretty funny  |
Wow...the mx chat failed once again thanks to the fact that Lord Dargon has been reincarnated under the moniker of Bobo The Raging Hobo.

Congrats on 13k.
I actually had one go on for 2 hours one time. Granted, it was a massive spamfest, but still, it went on that long. It was on MSN. Maybe that's why. MSN is far superior anyways. |
