At 2:16 am this morning Lancaster police responded to a disturbance call and discovered an unidentified 19 year old male dead from an apparent crack-cocaine overdose. He was discovered in a compromising position suggesting sexual abuse and possibly rape. When asked for comment a deputy on the scene replied "First thing I thought was damn, James Spader has really gone downhill."

One officer was quoted as saying, "he had some kind of shitty, demonic music playing, I believe the kids are calling it grindcore these days. Strewn around the room were CDs by artists like Dead Baby Fest, Engorged Fetus Syndrome and My Spinal Column Closely Resembles A Disemboweled Child."

whiteminority 09-04-2006 11:47 AM

Make Gospel "A Golden Dawn"

Luxor 09-04-2006 11:47 AM

I like every single one of those bands, except for Jeromes Dream.

(and Orchid) :o
They suck.
Yep, they do.

But that song's awesome.

Edit: Chris and Gav both sent it and they sent the bad version. :(

whiteminority 09-04-2006 11:52 AM

Some suspects to be taken into questioning include several members of the internet musical forum Sputnik Music. It appears the victim was viewing the site during his last moments and a history of the hard drive besides showing numerous pornographic websites, "This guy was a sodomite" reports one deputy, shows an almost constant presence at the Sputnik site where he would share his most intimate details. More details to come later.

I actually have the older version. I'll send it to you soon.

Fear Before is amazing, by the way.

Wow 09-04-2006 11:57 AM

I think you sent the older. :p

Whichever one you sent, the backup singer totally sucks in it 'cause his voice cracks way too much and the sound quality's just bad.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 09-04-2006 12:05 PM

I've never seen a picture of Justin, I would like to see one.

Luxor 09-04-2006 12:16 PM

cbmartinez 09-04-2006 01:41 PM

I sent you the one from the remastered CD, hence the new one. I have the older one on some comp.

Wow 09-04-2006 01:42 PM

Oh word.

Rant of the day:

Anarchy is gay. Crimethinc is gay.

cobert 09-04-2006 01:44 PM

FBTMOF's myspace headline is from Entourage.

Theyre now officially cool in my book.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 01:52 PM

IWASMOFFY should totally not be on that list as well as Off Minor.

While I love Off Minor the most, they really don't do jack **** for the history of emo.

cobert 09-04-2006 01:57 PM

I dont know what to throw onto the modern end though, besides City of Caterpillar and probably Gospel.

Wow 09-04-2006 02:04 PM

Forget Gospel.

cobert 09-04-2006 02:07 PM

ehhh, okay. Now I need 2 or 3 bands. CTTS maybe?

Pete 09-04-2006 02:08 PM

Yes. And Envy. Speaking in japanese is emoer than sweaters.

cobert 09-04-2006 02:09 PM

Not quite emoer than thick-framed glasses.

Wow 09-04-2006 02:10 PM

CTTS, sure. Any song by them would be fine.
Iwsmoffy - Six.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 02:12 PM

CoC, and CTTS and Gospel perfectly represent the "progressive" slant emo has taken. IWASMOFFY is just a ****ty group of TMV fans that can't acutally play that good of music, so they play hardcore.

Pete 09-04-2006 02:12 PM
Not quite emoer than thick-framed glasses.
Quite obviously not. About as emo as being skinny and pale, though. Which, coincidentally, all japanese people are.

Add some The Birds are Spies, or Funeral Diner. I'm just saying, at least they're recent.

cobert 09-04-2006 02:15 PM

Im still all for Gospel being on it. For CTTS, ill put on A Crater To Cough In.

And when did RABL start?

Wow 09-04-2006 02:16 PM

Iwsmoffy is awesome, son.

Early 2000's.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 02:19 PM
Iwsmoffy is awesome, son.
If you define meandering "atmospheric" bull**** for 30 minutes of a cd as awesome then sure.

cobert 09-04-2006 02:20 PM
Early 2000's.
ooosh, they need to go into the modern section.

IWSMOFFY is radddddd.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 02:28 PM
ooosh, they need to go into the modern section.

IWSMOFFY is badddddd.
edit for truth.

cobert 09-04-2006 02:31 PM

Nah.

Sep 09-04-2006 03:31 PM

Everyone buy the new Cursive.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 03:33 PM

Is so gud.

The Great Decay 09-04-2006 03:34 PM

I love the album, but it's no Domestica.

Sep 09-04-2006 03:35 PM

That might be the first time I've ever agreed with you, pixiesfanyo.

pixiesfanyo 09-04-2006 04:15 PM
That might be the first time I've ever agreed with you, pixiesfanyo.
That's a lie.

White Goodman 09-04-2006 05:17 PM

Happy Hollow may be my favorite Cursive album, that may be a little premature but it's very good, I know that much.

The Great Decay 09-04-2006 05:33 PM

It's been growing on me with every listen, so I could potentially like it more than Domestica, but as of right now I do not.
