albumbase sucks

everytime i download something from there, it would have one track missing or something like that

ATM 10-22-2007 09:00 PM

Albumbase is more like Sordos little brother's friend that always comes over and eats all your food and snores really loud.

dei 10-22-2007 09:46 PM

Sordo goes down at the worst times.

Robert Crumb 10-22-2007 09:54 PM

I got a Cramps album from Sordo today :)

sr800bkBassist 10-22-2007 10:17 PM

anyone else here from Southern CA? San Diego's massively on fire right now and life has actually stopped. the two-mile radius around my house is safe but most people around me have been evacuated.

Kage 10-22-2007 10:28 PM

Yeah, man, a bunch of people from my university are from that area, including my good friend's girlfriend. It sucks.

The wind is insane. And I could see fires from the freeway, it was creepy.

pixiesfanyo 10-22-2007 10:35 PM

i didn't have to go to work today because a tree from the wind fell on the powerlines to the restaurant. ROCK!

dei 10-22-2007 10:38 PM

A few trees fell in my friend's neighbourhood.

bleep_bloop 10-22-2007 11:02 PM

it was really windy here today too, odd.

Anxious 10-22-2007 11:13 PM

Theres a fire going on pretty much everywhere in Southern California except near where I live because those parts already burned a few years ago. All I get here is black skies and the privilege of choking on and breathing in smokey air.

bleep_bloop 10-22-2007 11:18 PM

thats ****ing crazy

dei 10-22-2007 11:21 PM

Do you know which areas are affected? I can't tell if there's a fire near my house, the visibility here is always low because of the smog.

:(

Anxious 10-22-2007 11:27 PM

No use watching the news seeing as they only care about Malibu. Go figure.

dei 10-22-2007 11:31 PM

Yeah. My sister's teacher lives in Malibu. He didn't show up today.

pixiesfanyo 10-22-2007 11:31 PM

I can see the smoke from Idyllwild, dude.

Zmev 10-23-2007 12:18 AM

no wildfires here :)

sr800bkBassist 10-23-2007 12:20 AM

here's a list of the San Diego area homes that are destroyed.
http://www.cbs8.com/

sunday around 3 or 4 i drove through Malibu (coming back from the Bay area) when the fire was raging. the sky was orange/brown/red/purple/gold/rusty, and you couldn't see more than 200ft in front of you. it looked like a scene from a movie.

Anxious 10-23-2007 12:29 AM
Fire officials say so far 500 homes and 100 businesses have been destroyed by the wildfires in San Diego County.
Nuts.

Robert Crumb 10-23-2007 01:11 AM

Seen some pictures. Looks crazy. Sky all red like rust.

sr800bkBassist 10-23-2007 01:36 AM

-You think the end of world is coming?

-Nah. The preacherman says so, but I. I don't believe all the preacherman says.

pulseczar 10-23-2007 08:28 AM

Ugh, all that courtesy, sharing, and putting up with quality freaks for nothing. I knew I should have just grabbed everything in sight and never return.

when the mountains here were on fire it was surreal to look at them at night and see a line of orange running down the front
