You're going to break your neck doing that.

sweboy 05-27-2005 04:19 PM

Mmmmm... breaking necks...

Wanker 05-27-2005 04:19 PM

Ok, pops, I'll stop then.

With a side of peas.

italic zero 05-27-2005 04:24 PM

Apples are a bit like peas... if you make 'em real small. And you do.

Wanker 05-27-2005 04:25 PM
Apples are a bit like peas...
Only not as sensual.

italic zero 05-27-2005 04:29 PM

So, therefore, death and violence may or may not be sensual, but combine well with sensuality. I think I agree.

The NPC 05-27-2005 04:41 PM

If only we knew what was inside.

Iai 05-27-2005 04:55 PM

I had the best exam in history today.

Bartender 05-27-2005 04:56 PM

How so?

The NPC 05-27-2005 04:59 PM
I had the best exam in history today.
Sounds like you got a C.

Iai 05-27-2005 05:02 PM

The exam involved listening to music.

Here were the songs.

Radiohead - No Surprises
The Specials - Ghost Town
The Small Faces - Itchycoo Park
Frank Sinatra - September Song
Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
Stevie Wonder - Signed, Sealed, Delivered
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama
Will Young - Your Game
Dolly Parton - Jolene

The exam included such taxing questions as 'What genre are Guns N Roses?', 'Identify the chords to No Surprises' - this is the first song I ever learnt on guitar, kiddies - and 'What features of Where Is The Love are typical of rap?'

Of course. At least, I do.

Iai: I wish I could study what you are doing, that sounds amazing.

pikester 05-27-2005 06:42 PM

My friend takes college courses to do that.

superpeer 05-27-2005 06:44 PM

YDload 05-27-2005 07:34 PM

So what genre ARE Guns N Roses? Hmm? I'd say hard rock but people are stupid enough to call them hair metal and I'm afraid the teacher's edition might reflect that.

Also, I have a job.

I'm going to be a sales rep and hopefully I will do well :)

Luxor 05-27-2005 10:51 PM

Glam rock?

There's no good threads right now. They're all "list this" and "what's your favourite that". Somone make a good band thread, I'm much too lazy.

br3ad_man 05-27-2005 11:48 PM

JonM 05-28-2005 09:06 AM

Oh God. Emocore sounds like the the #1 worst thing of all time.
