They just opened up. This is going to be the first show. They got some good stuff coming up, including Life or Death.
I don't care how good of a musician he is, he's a ****ing hypocrite.
He makes millions off of stealing blues music from black people and then endorses Enoch "Let's Keep England White" Powell for Prime Minister, so England wouldn't become a "black colony". Sorry buddy, **** you.
LOL. Are you serious? He stole nothing from black people. Jazz does not belong to black people. Who cares who he supports? He is a very talented musician nuntheless. |

1.) Clapton isn't a jazz guitarist 2.) Blues is an essentially black musical genre 3.) He's a ****ing racist |
Is that why he did an album with BB King?
|
6 bucks is a weird cover.
6 bucks is a weird cover.
Why? |
whoa
|
Why?
I don't know I've never been to a show where the cover is 6 bucks. |
I don't know I've never been to a show where the cover is 6 bucks.
Around here, they're always weird numbers, like six bucks, or four bucks or something. It's never something easy like five. |
1.) Clapton isn't a jazz guitarist
2.) Blues is an essentially black musical genre 3.) He's a ****ing racist
Just because Blues is essentially a black genre does not mean it belongs to them, nor does it mean that other people of other races can't play that style and make money off of it. The overwhelming majority of all Rock genres including hardcore and emo are predominantly white, would you blame a black Hardcore band for making money off of hardcore music? |
Usually shows here are 5 but for out of town big bands are usally 10.

I'm not saying white people shouldn't play blues, jazz, reggae, or anything like that, I'm saying people who are evidently racist shouldn't. |

"Clapton said that England had "become overcrowded", and implored the crowd to vote for Enoch Powell to stop Britain becoming "a black colony." The comments would directly motivate the foundation of Rock Against Racism. Despite the damage to his career and reputation caused, Clapton has always steadfastly refused to distance himself from the remarks." Sounds like a Grade A ******* to me. |

"We were doing something really corrupt in the way we were inviting people in under false premises... We've always been up to some funny business in this country, inviting people in as cheap labour and then putting them in ghettos." What a weasel. I found these in another article but I'll paste this in: * Immediately re-iterating to the Melody Maker that Enoch Powell was "a prophet"; * Later apologising, under duress, in a letter to the Maker, signing off: "Enoch is the only politician mad enough to run this country"; * Playing the Mandela gig and having the promoter Jerry Dammers ask him if he'd like to take the opportunity to withdraw his support for Powell - "and I thought "you must be ****ing joking", and I wouldn't do it"; * Telling Uncut that "[t]here was something about [Powell] that I thought was outrageously brave... he spoke from the heart and I recognised that". You'd think the Nelson Mandela concert would have been a good opportunity to make it clear that he disagreed with things he had said before, no? My ***. |

I have no clue, I'm done debating him. |
Wait this whole argument is my fault.

Aside from all this garbage about blues and guitar playing, let's try to stay focused on the fact that Eric Clapton's songs blow.
|
Is that picture with the dudes from Public Enemy in Minor Threat shirts real?

123 I burned this CD for this girl from school with a bunch of hardcore on it, and I wrote "Danielle's Hardcore Education" on it. My mom found it and thought it was ****. |
