You would go..50 miles per hour haed on into a light pole?

Insane. I thought I was an idiot jumping off 2 story houses onto trampolines.

Taste_My_Scythe 06-24-2005 04:57 PM

Hello there! Just got done with having friends over and hitting the pool, then coming back to watch Napoleon Dynamite. Yep. Pretty cool day. How's everyone doing?

Sup Leah. My day sucked because I just woke up at 3 PM.

Who the hell repped me and why?

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-24-2005 05:06 PM

Was it real big and orange?

If so, that was me. If not, then I can't help you out there. :)

TMS- Napolean Dynamite lol

Congratulations 06-24-2005 05:08 PM

One of the reasons I said that no one should talk to powerchord rock about me...I'm extremely easily amused. I love that movie. I've only seen it twice and can quote the whole thing.

Drugstep 06-24-2005 05:09 PM
Wow, why'd you do that?
Stayed up all ngiht on MX ( ) and went to sleep at 9 AM hoping that wouldn't happen.

Shred Danson 06-24-2005 05:11 PM

Jakeo- Yeah, man. I wanted to put those 50 MPH's into good use  If you have a golf cart that goes 50, come on, man, you're gonna want to have some fun with that.

Hey Leah. Napolean Dynamite? Meh. I give it 2 1/2 stars out of 10. A family friend has a cousin, I believe, who played Uncle Rico in that movie.

Still watching King of The Hill. God, that show is the embodiement of LIFE.

I'd totally abuse the speed.

My friend's college roommate owned the cow that they used for the scene where that old guy shoots the cow right by the school bus. You win. :upset:

King of the Hill is sweet. I'd so put it in Boomhaur.

erm...I just typed that out didn't I. Scary.

You do mean old Simpsons, right? Because I think even the dryness that is King of the Hill is better than the new Simpsons.

I would actually prefer to watch the new Simpsons over King of the Hill, that is how much I loathe that show.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-24-2005 05:23 PM

You just compared The Family Guy to another TV show...You can't do that. It's untouchable. :p

KotH is still awesome though. Yup. Mmmhm.

Better than breaking your G-string. ;)

Drugstep 06-24-2005 05:37 PM

FUturama has never had a funny moment in all that I've seen.

I restang my guitiar May 29th, so I'm due for break soon. I went a week without playing though. I'm hitting Ernie Ball Super Slinks.

I went almost nine months without changing strings once, so there is still hope.

Do you think I was aiming for a huge response?

Thank you for taking the stupid joke seriously.

halfdeadhippo 06-24-2005 05:41 PM

 I just spent a dollar renting a DVD of the movie Collateral from my library and it's so scratched it's unwatchable. So me and my friends watched S.W.A.T. instead. Then we watched the end fight scene from Equilibrium, because the fight scenes are the only part of that movie worth watching. If you've read Farenheit 451, you've seen the rest of that movie.

Congratulations 06-24-2005 05:41 PM

I did too once, and it freaked me out. I would have had them even longer had I not tried to tune my guitar funny. I actually forgot what gauge I had since I had those strings on so long.

When I first got the guitar, strings for lasting me like a week, and I was using Dean Markleys then.

My bass player's had his bass for over three years now, and he has yet to change his strings or have one break on him. He claims they sound just fine, but I'm willing to bet money he'd notice the difference if he changed them.

edit:  The post count of Big Brother!

Maybe that's why bass strings cost cash++. I haven't changed my acoustic strings since I got it 3 years ago.

magicbus 06-24-2005 05:53 PM

I always break my e string too, like once a month, or every 2 months. And I have to buy strings in packs, so I have like 8 unused packs of strings with just the high e missing.

I immediately turned sad when I broke that string.

In lighter news, I really like "Sailing the Seas of Cheese".

NP: Spanish Castle Magic

EDIT: AIM chat anybody?

That album is amazing.

And one reason bass strings cost more is because they're about 5 times thicker. More material=more $$

Drugstep 06-24-2005 05:55 PM

Have a guitar store worker check at your bridge at the E string. :thumb:

I'm gonna go do some music lsitening/research for my upcoming thread. WIsh me luck.
