I like the number 12 looks like you.
I havnt listened to them in a year, but whos keeping track.
what are they exactly?

cobert 09-02-2006 02:19 PM

Tech metal.

bottlerocket 09-02-2006 03:15 PM

^ Scene.

-Gav

cobert 09-02-2006 03:18 PM

Good.

bottlerocket 09-02-2006 03:22 PM

They're OK, though.

-Gav

Wow 09-02-2006 03:27 PM
What about Gashaetia
Now that you mention it, Gav and I were thinking of doing another song soon.

But I also started a band about World of Warcraft with my friend Joey called The Undead Poet Society so I dunno.

cobert 09-02-2006 03:31 PM
They're OK, though.

-Gav
Oh what the hell, a few weeks ago this came up and it was just me and you that didnt think they were gay, now I guess its just me.

I need to start a real band around here, not some watered down generic popcore that lists Bullet For My Valentine as their influences.

If youre influenced by a band that youve only been hearing for 2 months, thats called being a rip-off.

bottlerocket 09-02-2006 03:33 PM

I still dig them. One of my guilty pleasures. :(

An Inch of Time for an Inch of Gold > POYRRG >>>>>>> NSN

-Gav

cobert 09-02-2006 03:36 PM

I still liked Nuclear Sad Nuclear. POYRRG was definitely their best though.

If deez bullets cud talk = Intense

RCVA 09-02-2006 03:40 PM

My favourite embrace song is can't forgive. Maybe i should listen to the other songs more if no one else agrees haha.

Dag Nasty should be The Godfather.
I love that song.

cobert 09-02-2006 03:44 PM

Im still not sure if I want Dag Nasty on there. If somebody can think of another band ill replace them, or maybe just take them out.

RCVA 09-02-2006 03:51 PM

To me they're just hardcore.

cobert 09-02-2006 03:54 PM

Yeah, thats why im questioning if they should be on there. Husker Du was just hardcore too, but they were like, proto-emo.

whiteminority 09-02-2006 04:36 PM
Yep.

That is what im going for, but i just organized the bands into groups of 4 or 5 for the different stages. You can see how the first few on there are early emo and the stuff that influenced them, then it goes more into the indie, then chaotic stuff.

gtfo, The Number Twelve r00l.

But just to clarify for the other guy, theyre not emo.
yeah go ahead and screw sunny day real estate and do jawbreaker.

cobert 09-02-2006 04:40 PM
yeah go ahead and screw sunny day real estate and do jawbreaker.
k, I was unsure about SDRE, Jawbreaker would be better.

whiteminority 09-02-2006 04:43 PM

I like both but Jawbreaker is much better. Picking a song though is up to the rest of you guys.

cobert 09-02-2006 04:44 PM

Didnt they do Seafoam Green?

That song was pretty raddddd.

RetiredAt21 09-02-2006 05:26 PM

The Number 12 is lame.

Dextomethorphan 09-02-2006 07:58 PM

I love Jawbreaker, but I thought you guys always said they're not emo.
Picking a song though is up to the rest of you guys.
Accident Prone or Chesterfield King?

cobert 09-02-2006 08:55 PM
The Number 12 is lame.
Incorrect.

Sleeper 09-02-2006 09:51 PM

I really like the song Civeta Dei by Number 12.

pixiesfanyo 09-02-2006 10:17 PM

Concubine 09-03-2006 11:24 AM

Are Jerome's Dream any good?

whiteminority 09-03-2006 11:27 AM

YES

White Goodman 09-03-2006 11:30 AM

meh, I really didn't enjoy the vocals at all, personal taste I guess.

Wow 09-03-2006 11:35 AM

Dude, I don't care what anyone says, "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects brings the ruckus.

Dextomethorphan 09-03-2006 11:50 AM

I can't get into the vocals from old JD at all, but the later records...I love it.

RetiredAt21 09-03-2006 11:52 AM
Are Jerome's Dream any good?
F'uck yes. They are awesome.

Jessizzle 09-03-2006 11:52 AM
Dude, I don't care what anyone says, "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects brings the ruckus.
RetiredAt21 09-03-2006 11:53 AM
Dude, I don't care what anyone says, "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects brings the ruckus.
...

Eliminator 09-03-2006 11:53 AM

That statement is true.

But uh... the kiddy chorus? No.

RetiredAt21 09-03-2006 11:55 AM

Seriously, the kiddy chorus is really gay. Definitely the gayest part of an already gay song.

Jessizzle 09-03-2006 11:56 AM

Thats why i just stick to kelly clarkson and BTMI.

cobert 09-03-2006 12:08 PM

Kiddy Chorus : Pop music :: Whoahs : Hardcore

Jessizzle 09-03-2006 12:09 PM

EEEeh. Good lunk tonight cob.
dedicate a song to me. k thnx >_>

cobert 09-03-2006 12:19 PM

"This next song goes out to Jess in Canada".

Nah, thats not gonna work.

Also, wrong community thread.

Jessizzle 09-03-2006 12:19 PM

I think it would be kinda funny.
OH YEAH we spam PP

cobert 09-03-2006 12:23 PM

That would deliver several lolz from people not in the know of our inner circle.

And I didnt say anything about this in here yet. If you guys dont know, Im playing a labor day party tonight around 6:30 or 7ish.

Wow 09-03-2006 12:35 PM
That statement is true.

But uh... the kiddy chorus? No.
It was a little contrived but I still think the song is solid.

If you disagree, you are a closet homosexual.

cobert 09-03-2006 12:38 PM

Oh man, I cant stop listening to You and I. I need to download all of their stuff one day.
