Do you guys like Anacrusis? I have Suffering Hour, and its pretty damn good. Sometimes the vocals are a little much, but everything else is awesome.

I'd say give it another chance, I dismissed it as boring when I first got it, then came back to it a couple of months later and was pleasantly surprised.

The bay area band that really didn't get the amount respect they deserved was Vio-lence, not Testament

Yeah but Vio-lence's Nothing to Gain is completely weak.

Compare it to the weakest from every other Bay Area thrash band. It's godly next to Testament's, Exodus's, Forbidden's, Death Angel's, and so on

I never see any respect for Testament more than "They're decent"

I know several people that put Vio-lence in their top 5 bands.

I think they could be a lot better without that vocalist.. Chuck? I don't know his name. But I'm not fond of his vocals at all, that's my main beef.

Dekapitator is good for a listen every so often, but I get sick of them fast.

I'm one in here who gives Testament a lot more credit then "decent." And I think the vox are excellent. Their older stuff is classic and the later stuff off of Low and The Gathering is awesome too.

I love tetament and vio-lence is really good. Not my favorite (refering to vio-lence), but probably in my top 20.

Testament is in my top 3, and Vio-lence isn't in my top 75 at least.

Testament is tied for my first favorite thrash metal band with megadeth. Both are within my top 10 bands. Live in London is probably one of my favorite live albums as well.

I havent listened to them alot lately, but I started again the other day.
