New "Star Trek" looks incredibly gay, like some mix of an Apple commercial, the OC and Prison break. Old Star Trek is infallible.

But the last few movies were Next Generation so of course they were going to be mediocre. That show was so overrated. First two seasons of it sucked and the last few movies sucked. It's all about The Original Series. Three consistently amazing seasons followed by two brilliant movies, one hilarious one, one okay one, a snorefest and whatever the hell you'd call Final Frontier (the word I'd use is terrible).

Old school for you then, that's cool, coz it was damn good ****. Next Generation was my first delve into it and saw every ep, but I do agree that original would be hard to top. William Shatner wasn't even approached for a role in this current one either.

Well considering he died in Generations and the new movie is about some gay ****ing timewarp it wouldn't make sense for him to be in it anyways.

Plus Shatner is too elite for this Shaun of the Dead, Harold and Kumar fake Star Trek ****.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'll see the movie and I might enjoy it from an entertainment aspect but I hardly expect it to do any justice to the franchise. The fact that the trailer says "forget what you know about Star Trek" is insulting because not only is that stupid but it's just perpetuating a stereotype.

I mean what good is Star Trek without green women, bell bottoms and latent sexism?

Anyways, I'm about to go into full blown nerd rage talking about this new "Star Trek" film, so I'm going to bed instead.

I finished finals on thrusday. I start my job next Tuesday.
