****. daylight savings time steals an hour from my weekend tonight.

well, that and a lack of signal from my cell phone so i couldn't recieve a call.

i hear we are getting rid of daylight savings after this year.. can anyone confirm this?

It's up to the municipality whether or not you observe it. My Mother-in-law's town does not and it's confusing as all hell when she tries to schedule anything with relatives out of town.

I guess the idea now is that you won't have your lights on for that dark hour of the day while you're sleeping, thus saving energy. Seems like they used to tell us it was for the farmers, though.
