Where can I buy a Russian Circles shirt?

Spiritofmosa 02-21-2007 10:26 AM

Russian circles is awsome. thanks

whatsgrimace 02-21-2007 10:48 AM

I have Enter but I haven't really had the chance to sit down and give it an in-depth listen. Same with the new Pelican leak, actually.

pixiesfanyo 02-21-2007 01:35 PM

Russian Circles is B-O-R-I-N-G

Kage 02-21-2007 01:38 PM

I disagree.

pixiesfanyo 02-21-2007 01:40 PM

You probably like the new Modest Mouse too don't you.

So I went to see Explosions in the Sky yesterday and it was fantastic. Show was amazingly intense and all songs flowed together like one huge song, no pauses, no bullshit talking in between songs. If you can go see them, I'd say do it, even if you find them just decent or something.

Kyle 02-27-2007 10:59 AM

I like bullpoop talking in between songs :(

Seeing EitS in april.

whatsgrimace 02-27-2007 11:00 AM

np: russian circles - death rides a horse

this is great.

no propellers 03-03-2007 02:31 PM

anybody ever check out Sparrows Swarm and Sing?
its basically regurgitating every post-rock band you ever heard. but some tracks of theirs is actually not too bad and somewhat original.

Kage 03-03-2007 02:45 PM

I don't really have tolerance anymore for bands that basically write songs out of the "How To Write Generic Post Rock" book anymore.

Txus 03-03-2007 03:07 PM

Do we have any World's End Girlfriend fans in here? Dream's End Come True and Farewell Kingdom are great.

niobium 03-03-2007 03:28 PM

I heard a WEG song once, and it was really good. No clue which one it was.

Txus 03-03-2007 03:30 PM

You should check out the 2 albums I mentioned before. I can send either of those if you'd like.

niobium 03-03-2007 03:33 PM

Send whichever the "better" album is, if you please. I can't concentrate on two albums by one artist at one time.

Txus 03-03-2007 03:47 PM

Ok, I'll do it later when I get home.

Auberge le Mouton Noir 03-03-2007 04:11 PM

Yanqui UXO: underrated?

niobium 03-03-2007 05:30 PM

It's good, but it's rated appropriately. F#A# is overrated. But still good.

Antennas to Heaven is rated accordingly.

pixiesfanyo 03-03-2007 05:41 PM

F#A# is the only Godspeed I actually dig alot.

niobium 03-03-2007 05:49 PM

I haven't heard it in a year or two, I'm going to have to dig it up again. Of course, The Dead Flag Blues is killer.

Daven 03-03-2007 06:46 PM

I love both F# A# (Infinity), and Antennas To Heaven. F# A# (Infinity) is still my favorite though.
Yanqui UXO: underrated?
It's boring.

Auberge le Mouton Noir 03-03-2007 06:49 PM
It's boring.
MF = redemmer i'd say isn't that musically interesting, and there's no people talking etc to fill some of the longer ambient sections, but are you srs bored by like 9-15-00? I find that one actually builds up to something.

Txus 03-03-2007 11:29 PM

Check your rep Niobium.

whatsgrimace 03-04-2007 12:36 AM

Yanqui UXO is actually my favorite.

niobium 03-04-2007 12:46 AM
Check your rep Niobium.
Thanks man!
Yanqui UXO is actually my favorite.
I didn't know that.

Txus 03-04-2007 08:10 AM

Yanqui UXO is decent.
