Shadows Fall - not metalcore. They're another band i just call "metal"

Lamb Of God has a lot of metalcore influences though...

Killswitch Engage - best metalcore band i can come up with. They showcase the genre's highlights perfectly.

Got my drums, bass, and keys finished for my Taste Of My Scythe comp cover. Took a hell of a long time, but now is the fun part...out comes the axe.

I actually didn't like Shadows Fall the first time I heard them. I heard them about the same time I heard In Flames, and I headed in the In Flames direction. I like them now though; got a couple songs off the YSI on my mp3 player. Lamb of God is ok.

I want to do a cover song for the comp...just have no way to do it, unless i buy a recorder for my ipod, and record straight onto that. Might have my band cover Nemo by Nightwish...that would be great.

Nemo is awesome. Tarja = beautiful and so is her voice. Isn't she classically trained or something?

They are quite different really. Sinergy is a bit softer and has a female singer.

Yeah. The guitar stuff is pretty awesome in Sinergy...mainly because the guitarists are Alexi and Roope Latvala. They have some pretty cool melodies. The first Sinergy song I ever heard was Beware the Heavens. I actually like I Spit On Your Grave better, though.
